  1. fabiocandido, fairly certain i spotted your sup driving around near hayes over the weekend. Ill give you one thing bud the colour stands out a mile - especially on a sunny day like it was. Finish on the sup looks immaculate and car was also looking polished to perfection.
  2. 1 sideskirt for sale. Purchased the pair off ebay month or two back for £150 the set from car mad styling. (only needed the one) please be warned - Bodyshop i took the passenger one to said it needed a bit of work to fit it. so probably will need the same sort of work to get the driver side one on. Although now fitted my passenger side one looks perfect so no issues. Condition as new from ebay. collection preferred. will post if need be. £25 i think would be reasonable.
  3. Hello all, Im selling a Glass Driver side sup Headlamp. Perfect condition. Ive gone back to using my old refurbed plastic ones after a little 'mishap' rendered my passengers side glass headlamp unusable. Looking for £100. Really would prefer someone to come pick it up as its a heavy unit (not to mention it made of glass!). But I will post if need be. Not sure how much postage will cost but will find out as and when. regards Jas.
  4. jees ive just seen your user name!.. badboySupra I'm still learning... yes you are my friend..
  5. In all fairness I think if your going to put lambo doors on any car, better on a sup then anything else. Think it’s unfair to buddle this particular mod in with the common chav checklist of mods. The supra's slick and sophisticated styling is one of the very few cars that actually can pull off the 'lambo' look. And i can see the benefits in a tight car parking spaces as sup doors are quite long and in a low sup, you practically have to fallout of the car if you cant swing the door open all the way (I do in mine anyway!) However the problem is the build quality and sturdiness of all aftermarket products which aim to achieve this affect. sup doors just arnt designed to go up and allot of the brackets just are not good enough to make it a worthwhile mod. A well kept Sup is enough of a head turner with out the need for such bells and whistles IMO - But i certainly wouldnt begrudge anyone who made a seriouse attempt at this mod on a sup. we dont all want to end up with the same looking car now do we.
  6. isnt a bpu'd N/a when you sell it and buy a TT??
  7. first thing im going to do when I get my murcielago is to weld my supra doors onto it...
  8. Possible entry question. Do you think plastic calliper covers attached with prit-stick and double sided sticky tape is a worthwhile 'modification' a. yes. b. no. c. ..but i dont drive a calibra I have a corsa??

  10. how about armbands with user names on them as alternative (if name tags seem a bit to 'officey')? mkivsupra.net t-shirts with user names on the back- a step to far?.. although i would happily wear one if it looked good. and it would look quite cool at non- supra only events if a group of us were wearing them.. Just some ideas.
  11. Havnt read any of the replies but i just wanted to say Im really sorry to see what someone did to you car.. cant believe someone could be that sick and twisted! Have you reported it yet? - hope they catch the Ba$tards! Chin up fella - Will your insurance company cover it under the “someone’s painted a great big f#ck-off dragon on my car while I was at work clause”???
  12. no probs mate. like i said the car looks in pretty good nic for its age. There are a few nicks and scuffs around the body but nothing to serious or unexpected. hoods in great condition. wheels are immaculate. interior relatively clean. small rip on one seat. No obvious rust patches. small bit of bubbling starting to appear under the hood towards the rear but again relatively minor. couldn’t get a good look under the arches or under the car due to where it was parked. but if the rest of the body is anything to go by shouldn’t be to bad. all in all i don’t think it would be a wasted trip for any obvious reason. didn’t start it up. took 1 or two pics for you. (apologies im no photographer..)
  13. Really gutted to have missed this - was hoping this would have been my first supra meet if it hadnt have been for my current steering prob... Some stunning looking sups, looked like a great day. Some cracking pics also!
  14. Yeah i keep meaning to do that also. I’ve used my local (Feltham TC) for a fair few cars before (including some imports) and have always been satisfied with their work. But hearing about WIM from a couple of guys on here ive been meaning to get it booked in for a proper setup at some point. However WIM are a little distance from me so i want to get the car travelling in a straight line before i make the trip for anything more technical!... This issue kept me from attending the WIM meet the other day as i don’t really want to drive the car to great a distance in its current "auto lane change" state.
  15. Ill pop over wednesday and take a look for you. if you want you can PM me a contact number and ill give you a bell when i get there. else ill just post back on wednesday.
  16. Not sure whats wrong with my Int access. but if its the place i think it is- they keep their cars indoors. i get back late from work. at home wednesday so can go have a quick look for you then mate if thats not to late for you?
  17. Hmm.. just comes up with a mangled text page when i click on it... Maybe something to do with work pc access. I dont mind taking a look for you mate. im not to far from hillingdon. i just want to be sure what garage (and car) im looking at!.
  18. My brothers begrudgingly selling his R33. Lovely example and extremely well looked after. Link below if anyone’s interested. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=300423677975&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT regards Jas.
  19. the clip can be summed up by the following.. A bunch of idiots today attacked another bunch of idiots. Some idiots fell over and were hurt in the idiotic incident. Everyone involved ended up looking like idiots - apart from one sensible man who tried to calm down the idiots. Despite this mans attempts police confirmed he was dealing with complete idiots. Another idiot later filmed the idiotic affair on an exceptionally and surprising clear TV and put it up on youtube. Police confirmed no one with an IQ above room temperature was involved in the incident - and disturbingly that some bnp supporters may be watching the news in HD.
  20. hmm.. Not sure why they didnt point this out to me? Its certainly something i will ask about when i take it back to them. cheers Ian..
  21. Just the one Ian... could that be the prob?
  22. :badmood:grrrrr.... If its not one thing its something else!! Ever since ive had this work done, its fixed the squeak, but the cars pulling left. ive had the geo setup checked and rechecked from my local and they now swear the alignment and setup is as it should be and the problem is else where... ive booked it in again with power engineering, so will see what they say. Anyone have any ideas about how changing a top mount thingy could potentially mess up the steering... basically if you let go of the steering on a dead straight flat road... the car will automatically and immediately change lane for you (consistently to the left)... now this would be fantastic if my supra referred to me as "micheal flippin knight" and audiobly confirmed that a change of lane was required before it executed the manoeuvre in its characteristically smooth and measured fashion.... but it flipping doesn’t... it just wants to go left, all the bleeding time!... ...il calm down now. Any ideas?
