  1. A mate of mine is getting a set of six 17" alloys (with tyres) sent from here over to Portsmouth this week with a courier for £50...pm me if you want the courier's details bud. edit: I have a pic of them on the car:
  2. You should be able to get them from your Toyota dealer (or Steve Manley click) for not much more than a few quid each mate.
  3. Depends what state your paint is underneath it, if you can take them off and get away with a polish then I'd go for it, but if it means repainting it's an expensive change. A previous owner put a huge (rectangular) plate on the back of mine and kindly drilled big holes to screw it on so I'm thinking of getting a pair. Supramemole is working on a set of carbon inserts (as far as I know) that I'm looking forward to seeing.

    Got another one!

Get the project thread started Luke looking forward to reading it. If I was starting from scratch for the exterior I'd be thinking oem skirts and spats, either an active spoiler or amuse style lip, and a set of coilovers. Maybe no spoiler too.
  5. Gaz1 had some odd ones for sale mate http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=176210&highlight=headlights
  6. Gutted for you mate, it's bad craic when someone doesn't have the decency to own up to their mistake. On the bright side, it looks like it's the bumper only, you should be able to get it repaired and painted for £150 - £200...could've been across the wing and bumper which would have doubled the price...little consolation I expect though.
  7. lol, you've totally missed the whole care bear theme this week DAT Inter, haven't you? I'm glad you seem to be deciding against Marty, I suspect it would have been a big regret and would have been the sort of thing that would put future buyers off when it comes time to sell it on. Can't beat a shiny low slung angled exhaust.
  8. The chrome rings corroded on my facelifts Claire, left them looking a creamy colour as the paint was flaking off. I looked into getting them repainted, but was told that the 'chrome' paint available wasn't really up to much and didn't look like chrome. I ended up painting the whole lot black which does look good on a black car, but can't help admiring the chrome rings when I see facelift pics. I might split them again and have a go with the chrome paint to see for myself. It's not a hard diy job at all, lots of help topics and write ups out there to guide you through the process.
  9. That's a powder coat finish, even the lip? Looks great mate, was it expensive if you don't mind me asking?
  10. Cool, that's what I thought but wasn't 100% sure, painted dash is next on the list then
  11. Did you do the prep inside the house bud? Could be that it was prep'd in the heat and the change in temperature between inside and when you took it out to the porch has caused the plastic to constrict causing the 'crack'. Off topic, but did you have to do the same level of prep for your facelift dash as you would for a pre-facelift dash (thinners, scraper etc that I've seen in some write ups)?
  12. I always liked the vent in the do-luck bonnet (Chingy's motor), very subtle http://ll.speedhunters.com/u/f/eagames/NFS/speedhunters.com/Images/AntonioAlvendia/England/DoLuckSupra/MG_7885_DoLuckJZA80%20copy2.jpg
  13. I'm pretty sure I've a spare Marty, if you pm me your address I'll post it up (it's a bit warped but still works), or if you're in Belfast during the day any time let me know and I'll bring it to work with me. If it's not the right one, you can buy them separately on ebay for not much money.
  14. A couple of mine, put to shame by Paul's - what an awesome motor you've got there mate
  15. Colsoop, Hoff, cheers - sorted with some polished ones (thanks Michel). Dazzi, work away with the cam cover mate, it'll be next month before I can think about buying anything else
  16. I was hoping you might spot this col...I'll pm you later/tomorrow bud
  17. Hi, I'm after an intake manifold and throttle body for an n/a auto please, polished would be nice, but stock would be grand too. Anybody?
  18. I think the maximum you're allowed is 5 litres in a sealed jerry can/container on the boat (it's a fire hazard)
  19. Bit surprised too, but then again he did say at his post match interview on Saturday that he asked himself every morning if he was the right man for the job, today had been 'yes', but if it was 'no' tomorrow then he'd have to do something about it. In time I might admit that he was a quality player, but (as a kopite) I suspect that's many years away yet, for all the quality he had the recurring image is of his horrific tackle on Alf Inge Haaland.

It is indeed Michael, I was part of a team that built it for a BBC Northern Ireland TV show, the same show that Ernie's (Chief Groover) Supra was in. I'm really proud of how it turned out

It's all coming off today, which will be a relief tricky-ricky, relax, it was purely for our amusement and just for the show...

It's Monday, everyone's grumpy... I agree, the lines on their own do look better, but we did that last year (my supra wasn't on the stand though) so had to come up with something different for this year.
