I'm off them 6 months, I used Champix and couldn't believe how easy it was. I've tried many many times with patches and gum and the book etc and it's killed me every time. That said, there's a (small) risk of serious side effects and reports of suicides linked with them, and you need to think seriously about this before going on them.
  3. The ridox kit really suits a white car http://www.carsensor.net/CSphoto/bkkn/U/000000/15/U00001385015L.JPG

  5. ^^ that's what I thought of first too. Another set of hdr's with shutters in the background here: http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=172266&highlight=hdr
  6. About £30 per caliper for the kit I think mate, includes new pistons and seals, either Steve Manley or your local Toyota should be able to supply them.

    ouch!!

^ lol, there's a longer version of that clip where the guy comes round, gets up and stands in exactly the same place for the re-take.

    Hello!!!

Well remembered! Your cousin Greg was telling me that you'd bought it. Didn't you have another white one a few years ago??

    Hello!!!

Hello Lisa, I heard you'd got yourself one You need to come down and show it off some Sunday night soon.
  10. Looking forward to seeing it around mate, looks like a clean one health to drive! I'm not sold on the white active spoiler either though.
  11. It's out my back in a bin bag, I didn't know whether it should be binned, or taken somewhere, or what to do with it. It wandered onto a dual carriageway, I was doing 60 and there were cars behind and beside me so there was no way of avoiding it safely. I'm happy enough to post it to Scotland, but suspect it won't be cheep. *sorry*
  12. A stupid pheasant wandered straight into my path on the way home from work this evening, it managed to take my number plate off and hit the radiator, leaving a 50p sized area damaged (bent fins) and possibly bending the two thin metal pipes running across the bottom of the front of the rad. Is it ok to keep an eye on the engine temp and coolant level for the next few days, and if it remains normal to assume that there's been no lasting damage, or is it a case of accepting that a new radiator will be needed? Is there anything else that I need to be checking or testing to see if the radiator's still good? Any help/advice appreciated!
  13. Going by Jay's post here it looks like it can only be brake related bud.
  14. My money's on the brake fluid, even the slightest drop in level sets my (!) off.

    polishing kit's

Just have a couple mate, but they're not the best quality and don't really show just how bad they were. I had to tape my fingers up by the time I got to the last one because I'd blisters on the tips of all of them. I've yet to find something that does a good job of sealing them though, I have to wetsand them with a very fine grit maybe every three months (they're hard to keep in the winter) and top them up with another hand polish with belgom alu. They're certainly not to everyone's tastes but I like them, although I've been thinking recently about painting my old ones black to see how it looks for a change, and if that doesn't work out then maybe sell both and put the money to some five spokes. If money was no object it would be a set of weds SA-67R in black chrome...I wish!

    polishing kit's

After a lot of scotching/sanding/wetsand I used one of the kits from the polishing shop that Col linked to, it was my first time doing anything like that and it was really easy to use and my rims came up well considering how they were when I started. The optional extra belgom polish with the kits is a worthwhile investment too, easiest polish I've used and left them gleaming.
  17. Out of those I like the third, then first, then not really any of the others tbh. The problem with the cheaper wheels is that the price advertised is usually for 7j widths, and when you add on the extra for wider and staggered you're paying as much as you would for a half decent set of second hands off the forum/ebay/driftworks. I quite like the one's you've on, what about getting them refurbed in a gun metal, and using the money saved to get the car a touch lower? Then again I've 3 spokes, my opinion doesn't really mean much...
  18. Will your slam panel mean relocating the expansion bottle Mark?
  19. I saw them too, maybe 1989/90 (no way I was old enough to be going to concerts twenty years ago). Must go look out 'we care a lot' for a listen.
  20. To help make up your mind: I definitely prefer the black.
  21. Looking forward to having a nosey later on at home I bought the Cream Future Trance 3xCD a week or two ago, it's got some good stuff on it.
  22. Third pic's brilliant Shane, if I'm honest I'm not a big fan of the flip paint, but those double sixes are just sex.
  23. Is the juddering through the steering wheel mate? Have you had sticky calipers? Could be a warped front disc.
  24. Mine broke my heart taking them off, it was a tedious tedious job! As above, a hairdryer and a lot of patience, take it easy when peeling and try to peel the vinyl back across itself rather than pulling it 'up' to get it off. Alternatively if you happen to have a mate with a body shop, the booth with the heat on will really make it a much easier job. As Liam said, some tar and glue remover afterwards should get rid of the residue, but it might take a couple of normal washes to get it all off. Is it the full castrol livery? White with castrol graphics can look awesome imo.
  25. This is it Damien, lovely spoiler http://www.orido.jp/ridox/aeroparts/images/trunk-spoiler.jpg
