  1. Are they c-west light covers fizzle, or did you have them tinted bud?
  2. Rose tinted spectacles Charlotte, it never was that good, Prisoner Cell Block H was where it was at
  3. It's good to get the odd reminder every now and again that I'm lucky to be me.
  4. They could though, with a long term strategy. If they were to produce good quality 'official' gear and undercut the prices of home-grown and imported stuff then eventually they'd squeeze this out of the market. Small increases in duty each year after that would start making them a fortune. edit, another good watch is cheech and chong's up in smoke
  5. Don't get me wrong, I'm a firm believer in legalisation (or at least de-criminalisation) and I think the Government's missing a trick on the potential income from taxation/duty on it. The medical benefits from it are amazing too. The irony is that the majority of people that are open minded about it and care enough to do something about it are also the same people that can't really be arsed to do anything about it and forget a lot of what they've read. I don't sign up to the great big conspiracy theory, where the oil companies control everything, we're all sheep, life's a drudgery etc. Fair enough, early propaganda was misleading, but to be fair the authorities of the time were also fairly ignorant of the facts too. We're more enlightened now, and most intelligent people can make their own minds up about what's fact and what's fiction. Sort of on the same topic, Mr Nice is due out sometime soon, with Rhys Evans as Howard Marks, looking forward to going to see that (with a big pick and mix, popcorn, nachos and coke...) If you've not read the book Benkei, I'd recommend it highly, it's an awesome read. His other book (dope stories) is very interesting too.
  6. Good to see progress Damien, you got dates for Mondelo in mind?
  7. I started to read that, then got distracted by an ad on the tele, I did go back and read it all but I totally forget what it said. Nope, definitely not a smoker...
  8. Nengun.com have some Ernie, although not that one fitted to Paul's http://www.nengun.com/search/tow/1
  9. The materials alone are expensive enough, it's notoriously difficult to work with even on relatively straight pieces, the shape and contours of the dash panels would be a complete nightmare I expect, and a specialised service that few can offer. I don't think the price is too far off tbh, just a pity the exchange rate's not great.
  10. Yep, mine had to come off bud.
  11. I didn't think your car could be made to look any better Jay, but that's immense Those rims are looking great too, you did a good job with them

    Slam Panel? eh?

I assumed it was because that's where you 'slam' the bonnet down?
  13. Marty and Colin at Supra Specialists Ireland would be the only people I'd recommend this side of the water mate (that's north or south of the border too). They're at Loanends, not far from Aldergrove Airport, so should be very handy for you. Marty's username is Bondango, or pm me if you need a contact number mate.
  14. I do security part-time at the Belfast terminal for the IOM boat, seems to have been a good weekend for it, there were a few impressive motors and bikes going across, I search the cars so get the chance to have a nosey under the bonnets, there was a 450bhp audi tt and a mean looking evo v on Sunday's boat over. Some of the bikes heading over for the TT races are just jaw dropping.

    my respray

Will be nice to see it finished Carl, are you going no kit and spoiler-less?
  16. I expect you'll need to budget for a full respray too bud, there's so many parts to it that you're not likely to get away with just spraying the kit and fitting it.

  18. I think it looks magic, and I think that wings west covers for the lights would make that a very agressive rear end. Edit: Did you see this pic from the Oz thread that Tea From China posted?

    Today

Lol, welcome to the club mate
  20. Hi Abz, if it's the same one that's been talked about in the other thread by BadWolf, and the seller's not been any more forthcoming with the details then I'd be tempted to take the hit on the deposit and try to change your flights to somewhere else (Amsterdam!? ). I live about ten miles out of Bangor and don't know this car at all, it's not a big place and most of the NI supra owners know each other. If you're set on coming for a look anyway, the person you really want to be going to look at it with you is Marty (Bondango is his username on here) from Supra Specialists Ireland, I expect you'd need to pay him for his time too though. Could be worth dropping him a pm. If you can get any more detail on either the garage that carried out the work or the guy's own tt supra I'd be happy to do some digging to see what I can find out for you. Sadly there's no point me coming to look at it with you, I wouldn't know what I was looking at to be honest mate.
  21. I'm guessing you mean stretched tyres mate, they're not 'special' tyres, they're just narrower meaning that they need to be stretched when fitting, causing them to have a rounded looking sidewall. They're compulsory on the dubs I bought a set of second hand wheels with tyres fitted that had a stretch, one of the tyres came away from the rim on the way to work one morning, although the car had been parked half on/half off a footpath with a high-ish kerb the night before which I'm guessing had put a bit of strain on it.
  22. Marmite makes me violently ill.
  23. To print them, you need to select page setup from the file menu, go to the 'sheet' tab and click the 'rows to repeat at top' box.
