  1. Ray's got them Jurgen https://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=195908&
  2. lol, I know, I must have wrestled with that decision for all of 5 seconds when I saw the two pics side by side (no offence Pred!), it's whether it's ok to coat splits that I'm wondering about, as I can achieve the same look with paint but I don't know if the blasting will mean that painting is out.
  3. I picked these wheels up from Gaijin a couple of days ago, they're genuine splits and in staggered fitment, japanese, but unsure of the manufacturer. They're in need of a refurb which is all good, as whatever I bought was going to be redone black. lovely car, engine bay's awesome! Hope you don't mind me posting the pics Gaijin. They're going all black, probably without centre caps but I'll get a set of blanks done in black too just in case. I'm 99% certain that I'm going to go for a satin powder coated finish like in the first picture below, although when I saw pics of Pred's car with the wheels painted in a gloss finish (second picture) it gave me a few second thoughts. What I'm not so sure about is whether it's straight forward to powder coat split rims, I had read or heard somewhere that there was a chance that the coating could crack when being re-assembled. The condition of the centres in particular mean that some sort of blasting will be necessary first (bead/sand/soda) and I'm guessing that painting isn't practical after blasting as the blasting will leave the surface pitted. Has anyone had any experience of coating split rims and have they been ok when re-assembling? Or, has anyone had their wheels painted after they'd been blasted, and if so what was the finish like? http://www.ccwheel.com/files/gallery/TOYOTA/SUPRA/MKIV/C14/zoomed/09.jpg
  4. There's a maserati pearl white that looks stunning in the flesh, there's a really subtle colour change under different light or between daylight and evening. Don't know if it's to your taste Ed but it's different and would make the car stand out over the stock colour.
  5. Has it got a PSP instead of a rear view mirror?
  6. I'm guessing you're talking about your spats bud, and they look like oem from your pics, so you should be either keeping an eye out for second hand oem spats here, or trying Keron or Whifbitz. New genuine ones will be a small fortune, I don't know if you can even get them from Toyota anymore, they may be discontinued?
  7. Ridox kit is specific to the facelift model if that's any good to you Pat, there are holes for the front side repeaters and rear markers. Paul (Whiffbitz) sells a replica Ridox kit.

    New wheels

They are gorgeous! Some tire shine and you're laughing bud
  9. LOL! The guy is a genius!
  10. Hope this isn't a repost... An ugly bloke walks into a pub with a big grin on his face. "What are you so happy about?" asks the landlord. "Well, I live by the railway and on my way home last night, I noticed a woman tied to the tracks. I cut her free and we shagged all night. Loads of sex! Shagged her tits, even did her up the arse! I loved it!" "Did you get a blowjob?" the barman asked. "No" he says, "never found her head!"
  11. Same here, they replaced the dish and cables, tracked the phone line extension round the skirting board too.

    nice mustang

Lol, my car was king of the work carpark until one of the IT guys bought a dark green bullitt anniversary mustang. I was surprised at the price tag ($30k new from memory), I thought they'd be much more expensive. Cool car, sounds awesome too, but would have a charger over a mustang every time.
  13. I phoned them a few months ago when I was ready to order HD Darryl, and made enquiries about how much etc. They gave me the same prices and said they wouldn't budge so I asked to be put through to the cancellations department and was convincing enough (gave them the whole 'I've been a customer for years on the full package' speil) to get them to give me a free box and installation, and just have to pay the £10 extra a month. I've heard that this has sometimes backfired though, and they've said ok when will we cancel it from, but I imagine it's all down to how believeable you can be. Bound to be worth a go bud, you've nothing to lose. It took an hour on the phone though
  14. Aye, this would be one of those times in life where you lean back in your chair, stroke your beard and say to yourself 'I'm glad I'm me, there are some real twa ts out there'...
  15. Facelift for sure Rob, they bring it up to date a bit more. Love your car bud
  16. Clear ones are here bud: click
  17. Try Keron Ed? Failing that Steve Manley, and if the price from toyota is ridiculous then you can get clear ones on ebay for just a few quid. If you want them red then either swap with someone who's got a facelift or spray them. They're rear/side markers by the way bud, with bulbs in.

    Wheels

I've been offered a good price for my Advans, so I'm on the hunt for something to replace them with. Condition isn't particularly an issue, in fact I'd rather have a cheap tatty set, as they'll be refurbed in black anyways. Only interested in 18's, must be staggered widths, anyone got any in their shed/garage gathering dust, or know of any for sale? Bearing in mind I'm going to be paying for a refurb, I don't really want to pay more than £600 for the wheels themselves, but will consider cheaper wheels also. Cheers for looking!

    best bodykit

Don't waste your money bud, buy a lip for the front and use the money you'd have spent on a kit towards some jaw dropping wheels and a set of coilovers. If you're determined that a kit's for you, there are plenty on the whifbitz website. http://www.ccwheel.com/files/gallery/TOYOTA/SUPRA/MKIV/LM20/zoomed/01.jpg

    The new guy

Hello mate, welcome to the forum
  21. Paul can get them, but said they were very expensive. He also said he could do a splitter like the one he's got on his own if that's of interest to you bud. I had a look on the MVP website but couldn't find a listing for it.

    Hi i'm new

Plenty of room for baby seats in the back! There's a white n/a manual for sale in Glengormley, you could go take it for a test drive to see what you think, it might not be your cup of tea but it's cheap (particularly for the year), at least you'd know if it was a Supra that you wanted and you could start looking properly (9 times out of 10 cars for sale on here are far superior than those for sale on ebay or autotrader etc). click

    Hi i'm new

They do talk odd up there... Don't rule out auto before trying it bud, you might find that you like it. As DSK says, it really depends on your driving style, the n/a's still a relatively fast car but obviously not in the same league as a tt. They both look the same, fuel consumption's similar, believe it or not insurance is similar too. If something goes wrong with a tt then chances are it'll be more expensive to sort out though. There is good local knowledge too when it comes to servicing or performance upgrades, Supra Specialists Ireland is only a few miles away from you at Loanends (near Aldergrove). Go buy one! If you pick the right one it'll be extremely reliable and something you'll never regret
