  1. I bought Aerospace 303 the other day, picked it up yesterday so won't get to try it until the weekend. Read a few good reviews on it, and not expensive if it turns out to be cack was £12 with free postage http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/232149374012?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
  2. That design would look magic fully polished if you can be arsed keeping on top of cleaning them bud...
  3. Very nice bud! more pics pls!
  4. 17's seem to come up frequently enough (you could check Driftworks, Yahoo auctions JP, JDM Distro etc) but 18's can be hard to find edit - set of 17's sold on DW a few weeks ago for £300, another guy posted in the thread (post #10) that he had a set of 17x9 & 17x10... http://www.driftworks.com/forum/wheels-tyres-sale/252813-staggered-17x8-17x9-volk-racing-skid-rims.html
  5. I'm 43 with 11 years daily driving an n/a supra and a good postcode, my insurance is a little over £200 per year. I'd much rather pay £2k and be 21 again...

    Insurance farce

There must be some sort of mistake there Dunk, I know you're only plugging it into go compare for an idea, but imagine when you contact them to discuss it'll be a different story (hopefully!). It may be that they've treated you as a new customer with the quotes and the change would just be an administrative one which should only attract a small charge. I know that when I sold my last supra and went to amend my policy for the new one (same year, same model, just different colour and reg) my company tried to charge me a fortune, it turned out that I got an 'experience' type bonus/discount for owning the car for so long (8 years) and I had to get a manager to agree that the same discount should apply for the new one.
  7. I thought stock supra wheel nuts were tapered, but maybe not. Either way, you need a set of tapered alloy nuts Samm (with the end shaped like the one in the pic below), the fitment is m12 x 1.5 and there should be lots of options. I'd steer clear of aluminium nuts - they're lighter but not as strong. I think stock nuts from Toyota are quite expensive. Because the TTE's have a centre cap this might limit your options to shorter (open ended) nuts rather than the longer fancy looking coloured ones. http://jarsengineers.com/products/img/Nuts/tapered%20nut.jpg
  8. It's probably not a bad price bud, I get a mate's rate of about £130 a panel for bits I need painted - if it's not mate's rates it would easily be in the region of £200. So, on that basis it could be about £400 for painting the skirts and spats, so £150 for fitting (especially if they require work) isn't mad money
  9. Whistler's are nicer than the JR version too, they're 5 hole rather than 9 or 10 hole multi-fit's. Great price too, but copies obviously I almost pulled the trigger on some but decided to take some extra time saving for something else Edit, Vaarstoen are also a similar make for reps and carry the same sort of range in good widths and offsets, but I don't think there's a UK supplier for them either
  10. Scott is the hobbyist that does the refurbs, but Noz is doing replacement chrome rings. As far as I know he has the pre-facelift rings sorted and available but is still working on the facelift (main) rings
  11. Haven't bought wheels off eBay in the states but did consider it as the prices were really good back when the exchange rate was decent. I bought my ssr professor's from jdm distro (based in Dublin), they bring in used branded wheels from Japan - they've got some nice koenigs in stock at the minute but you're looking at over a grand
  12. They're nice wheels, but that price is nuts for what are essentially replica's of CCW's. I thought a set of CCW's is in that price range, in fact there's an awesome set of used ones for sale on here from nasoup for less: http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?338195-CCW-Classic-3pc-Wheels&highlight=wheels You can buy them on ebay (US) for about $1000 posted, although you'd be hit with (20%?) customs charges and have to wait on them arriving. http://www.ebay.com/itm/18x9-5-18x11-XXR-531-5x100-5x114-3-20-20-Chromium-Black-ML-Wheel-New-set-4-/232210737023?hash=item3610d6a77f:g:ywoAAOSwImRYgFjh&vxp=mtr
  13. Couldn't get the link to work but found it on Fb, I used to love metal but not so much my thing anymore. Did enjoy it tho, well impressed with it bud (esp the one handed playing ), guest appearance by the pug at the end was cool too lol
  14. Am sure I've seen posts on the difference in size/ clearance needed. What are the wheels and their specs bud, maybe someone is running the same with uk's who could confirm if they fit?
  15. It does bud, thanks very much decision made!
  16. Missed this first time round somehow...that's stunning bud
  17. Legend, cheers bud! close up of the carbon is what I'm most interested in, it looks a bit 'fake' in their pic but looks much better in yours, just want to confirm that from a close up pic please bud
  18. You learn something new every day, Chimichanga is a thing and not just something Deadpool says who knew!
  19. I've got OEM but my spoiler is carbon and i think it will 'stick out' if it's the only carbon piece, so I definitely want some carbon at the front too. Yours looks much better in the pic than the eBay pic does Delboy, you got any more close up pics please bud?
  20. I want to balance up the carbon rocket bunny spoiler at the back with a carbon front lip. I have an active spoiler and would prefer to keep it rather than going for a carbon RMM lip, so was considering either hydro-dipping the active spoiler blade, or getting it carbon skinned. I spotted this on eBay from Grams and would consider it, it makes sense as I could sell my blade to recoup some of the cost, but I'm not sure about it from the pic on eBay. Has anyone got one, if so was it good quality and could I see some better pics of it please? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/301985042604
