  1. Lovely Michael, such a nice colour
  2. Agree, and I paid more for my first na in 95 than they can be bought for now, however it was an 8 year old car I was buying then, it would be a 20 year old car I was buying now.
  3. I like bronze against white, but I'm really digging the matt black centre/anodised bronze finish that the new works come in
  4. Been patiently waiting Jazz! Check spoiler fitted and bits painted, big service incl timing belt and all fluids up next and super dragger to go on, before the end of this month hopefully. I've also fitted a double din, have lots of bits sitting that I really should get round to (heckler blue dash, clear headlight lenses, wind deflectors, lots of engine bay bits to be polished etc). Never be finished
  5. Well said Dean I suppose like everything, without a bit of effort it could deteriorate but if we keep on fertilising it with our sh*t it'll be grand
  6. Bit of a rub down, some fresh heat wrap, buff the back box and then my neighbours are in for a treat
  7. Sold! Cheers for replying to the thread Rob
  8. A local (trustworthy) dealer has just got a 96 tt auto in for sale if anyone is on the lookout for one. Looks like a crossover model. https://www.usedcarsni.com/1996-Toyota-Supra-3-0-Turbo-Auto-192112507
  9. Mine arrived today, looking forward to giving it a go, cheers bud!
  10. It's apparently been in storage for 10 years, so who knows how old it is. I've been keeping an eye out for ages for one (not necessarily a nur spec) but it seems difficult to find anything that's not either new and big bucks, or the cheap ebay systems. Have tried Keron a couple of times but no joy, I have the money burning a hole in my pocket
  11. Never thought about it that way, but sounds like a good option, cheers bud Given that it will need a little work, does £350 sound like a reasonable price to pay?
  12. I'm looking for a cat back exhaust to replace my stock one, and there's a 'damaged' one for sale that interests me. The tail pipe looks like it's taken a knock and someone has had a decent go at straightening it out. If I bought it, I'd want it to be perfect tho, so I'm wondering how difficult it would be to get it perfect - is it the sort of thing that you could give to a fabricator and expect them to be able to get it looking good as new again?? It's not a bad price, but it's not a bargain either.
  13. Getting close be good to see it out of that garage bud!

    Brown Fluff

    Jazz's rat's pubic hair
  15. Tit for tat is a common expression in relation to terrorism, certainly in Northern Ireland anyway, and generally in relation to retaliation for a recent similar attack/killing by the 'other side'
  16. jim

    polish or wax?

Very interested in that spray on wax too Peter, will keep an eye out for the GB bud
  17. There were (and still are) more pro-UK/loyalist terrorist organisations in Northern Ireland than republican terrorist organisations. I have no love (whatsoever!!) for the DUP, they're a backward thinking bigoted party but unfortunately they're the only viable unionist party and as the people of NI are still of the us/them mentality when it comes to voting rather than looking at it from a policy perspective, it's the DUP (and similarly SF) that do better than the rest. There have been many many scandals over all sorts of things, the most recent being the DUP leaders involvement in a flawed heating scheme that is seen to benefit its party members and that will cost the NI economy a huge amount of money, however our politicians rarely resign and never get the sack, whereas if it was a Westminster MP they'd be out the door. Politics isn't working here at the minute and something radical needs to be done as we know what the alternative is and no-one wants that. To be fair the DUP aren't the political arm of loyalist paramilitary groups though - their roots are in religion (which is where their views on abortion, same sex marriage etc etc come from). Their previous leaders were linked to a paramilitary group but the party distanced themselves from this when the group were caught importing arms from Libya. That said, paramilitary groups still hold influence in many communities and help mobilise the vote for DUP.
  18. Clean lenses make SUCH a difference, especially against silver gaffer tape probs was a bit ott tho
  19. That's very very cool Mac, I'm well jealous, would love a pair myself. I'm not a fan of the number plate surrounds in general but I do think they work well on your car with the darker lights. Your car reminds me of Ellis's
  20. Hopefully these are of use, I'll send you them separately too Craig if you need more/better pics (seems Mrs Jim picked up her skills at the Jazz School of Photography) let me know bud
  21. Maybe search the for sale section on driftworks now that you know what they are to see if anyone's sold a set there recently to give an idea on price? Rays is a quality make and I imagine they'll sell easily enough - they're very similar to Veilside Andrews which look great on a supra.
  22. If you don't get sorted this afternoon, remind me on fb messenger later bud, I'll take some pics of the holes behind the side repeaters and try to get some approximate measurements too. I imagine you'd probably just need to mask the area with some white tape, draw the shape you want to cut and then use a dremel to cut it out.
