1. Thanks for stepping up to the plate bud Christmas morning wouldn't be the same without a Supra calendar!
2. I have the blue facelift pcb's already but wanted to have the heater controls done to match. Might colour them in with a blue felt tip
3. Sorry to hijack Si Carlo, I have a spare unit, I bought it with the intention of sending it to Si for a blue led conversion without having to remove my own unit, but didn't get round to it and now sadly (been kicking myself over this one lol) it's too late. You're welcome to it bud if you're still looking one, pm your address and I'll send it down to you
4. Very nice bud, health to drive
5. the lhd is much much cheaper, I’m ‘of an age’ now where I think I’d be happy to sit in the inside lane and I’ve only 5 or 6 miles of B roads on my commute so overtaking (or less of it) wouldn’t be a big deal. wonder if it’s possible to fit a 2jz-ge in one...off for a google
6. Pic for illustration only CW, will steer clear of slammed with stretched tyres I’m well used to making sure I keep on top of servicing with the Supra and some of the ones I’ve seen for sale have had engine swaps (ca18det). I like the idea of a more up to date engine (ish) but would worry about the wiring side of things for one that’s had a swap. There’s a couple that look like they’re in good shape in terms of rust, but they’re imported from the US and are lhd. I suspect a rhd conversion would cost lots and lots tho.
7. I’ve been driving Supra’s daily for 12 years, have never once in all that time thought I’d rather be behind the wheel of anything else really. But...with prices the way they are now, I could sell the Supra and have almost enough for a ‘77 gen1 celica. I do about 50 miles a day round trip to work, and we just bought my son his first car (clio) so there’s back up should I need it. Am I dreaming??
8. I'd be interested in the NA clocks if they have both mph and kph bud
9. ^ That's awesome bud, colours are so vivid relieved that there's no red rocket/milking the dog piece in there
10. Had a photographer ask me the other lunchtime if he could take my pic, I like this one, shows off some of my tattoos
11. Did he not have a few, seem to remember a red one and a black one too? Think he sold the black one tho as he never drove it. Basically stayed out of the black and into the red
12. Good work Mr Bean that is a beaut!
13. My mate did his tt this colour within the past couple of weeks, looks amazing
14. Bustin to see how this turns out, looking good so far Mike!
15. There was definitely another as I remember posting in it, was much longer than that one
16. Bugger, missed this, I have blue dial pcb's but missing blue heater controls...if you were interested in taking on one last job Si I have a control unit ready to send
17. I'm not sure how wrapping works, are they stock colours, or can you create a colour the same way you can mix paints to get a particular shade? I saw a porcelain grey (no idea what the colour is called) Citroen something the other day and thought it would look amazing on a supra Edit: cumulus grey according to google, looks better in person than the pics online

19. Nice stock dial faces or what did you go for bud?
20. Couldn't do it, mines my daily, would miss it too much
21. Lucky man, GREAT taste, potential to be epic!

Valuation help

Little surprised at some of the valuations, I thought cat d history as a rough rule of thumb halfs the value of a car. NA manual in good nick is maybe £8k, less £1k for a cheap but presentable respray / tidy up, means a value of £3.5k ish? Would obviously love to see you get more for it but just giving my honest opinion Sunny
23. Wee update, just got his insurance sorted, his provisional licence only arrived yesterday. I went with Adrian Flux, £417 fully comp, pay monthly and can cancel when he passes. Added plus is that it will count towards his no claims bonus. Third party only was £398 so the extra £20 for fully comp was a no brainer. Fun starts later today lol
