  1. I prefer the volks I had stich mesh iii's on both my last supras, they're almost identical to the weds you posted. They're lovely looking wheels and suit a supra imo, but they are a pita to keep clean with a painted finish, so many fiddly bits to get into - I imagine a polished set would be a nightmare to maintain. My current wheels are polished and are a much simpler design (5 spoke SSRs) but I'm not going to run them over winter as I know they'll be impossible to keep on top of (mine's my daily).
  2. I want a pair for mine, have put a few wanted posts up but no joy.
  3. Proper wheels bud I'd say your chances of getting much of a spacer on are limited, 9.5 et35 should be quite aggressive. Can you try before you buy? I thought because they aren't dishy wheels that caliper clearance shouldn't have been as much of an issue?

    20" alloys

Even 19's look too big on a stock body imo, altho some kitted cars can pull the look off. There was a red one for sale on ebay within the past 6 months that had 20's on it and it looked all kinds of wrong and completely out of proportion.
  5. No help for a UK one, but Titan has them on sale (for a bargain price of $550)
  6. From Toyota bud, from memory it was maybe £15 but could be wrong. I'll see if I can find a part number edit: part number for the harness adapter is 09082-00760 more edit: finishing touch in the link in Iky's post in this thread http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?322267-Supra-badge-for-celica-steering-wheel-available&highlight=steering+wheel+badge
  7. I swapped mine for a gen7 celica wheel, only thing I needed was an airbag adapter (which wasn't expensive)
  8. That's just lovely looks in great nick too. It would maybe suit a set of starion wheels?
  9. Hi Keron, have you any UK spec headlight washers in stock please bud?
  10. My first car was a '73 jeans beetle (denim seats), it was yellow and the same age as me. The windscreen used to freeze on the inside and it had many many issues but I loved it, I'd love to have another someday Don't have a pic of it but it was identical to this:
  11. lol I ditched my sky for it, have gone from paying £110 plus (for tv, phone and broadband) per month to £20 odd per month for BT Infinity 2 and now have more choice of what to watch, turned out to be a great decision.
  12. That's not far off the cost of an s2000 stubby aerial - they look great particularly on a black car. If that doesn't float your boat you could look at who's bought one of the stubbys (from the group buy thread at the top of the for sale section) as it will give you a list of potentials for buying their old one off them bud
  13. Nice to see you back in one, health to drive Ric
  14. I'd have said more - they're quality wheels and quite rare, and they're good supra fitment with decent dish. Second hand rota's go for £5-600, I'd clean them up and aim for £8-900, although on the downside the trend is towards stepped lips so they may not appeal to as many people as they used to.
  15. Finally fitted my wheels last night, need to go a touch lower and the car needs a good clean (still had tyre fitting gunk in the first pic) but I'm happy...heading in the right direction:cool:
  16. Are they stock or HID's bud? If they're HID's it's very common, probably a ballast gone and cheap to replace.
  17. Probably biased (as I loved this car for many years ) but personally I would overlook the mileage, which is honest and below average for it's age, and price it based on the fact that it's been well maintained and cared for throughout it's lifetime.
  18. They'd be a fairly aggressive fitment on the rears (but should fit with arch work or stretching the tyres), fronts I don't think will work - my set up was fairly flush on the front and when I compare it to what you're suggesting, the calculator says they'll stick out about 3cm further.
  19. What style are you hoping for Shawn? There's a guy in Barcelona called Toni Donaire who does neo trad stuff that's just mind-blowing, if I was starting again I'd go to him.

    Headlight Rings

Nice! something like this has been a long time coming and I think demand will be good for them. I thought it was primarily the facelift rings that were prone to peeling though rather than pre-facelift, so the demand might be for the facelifts rather than pre
  21. Not ready for one now, but intend to get another one for my current supra at some point over the coming months bud if that helps?

    Europe

Interested to see how it plays out in Northern Ireland - like Scotland we voted to remain, I think that most here voted on the basis of how leaving or remaining would impact upon our own lives. Have to admit that I feel a little bitter that the people of England have decided our fate, but that's democracy Sinn Fein are rubbing their hands together this morning too - there are already suggestions that we will have a border poll (referendum on a united Ireland) and there is a real possibility that we will end up as part of a united Ireland not because people want to leave the union, but because people want to remain in the EU.

    Europe

There's a long 'tradition' of it here, the 'vote early and often' slogan gets an airing every time we have an election Both sides are apparently guilty of it but it's probably more widespread with republican & nationalist parties - the Westminster government alleged in 1983 that 20% of Sinn Fein's votes were questionable, at the same election over a thousand people turned up at various polling stations to find that their vote had already been cast.

I can see why someone from England would want to vote to exit given the perceived issues around immigration. We don't necessarily have that same problem here in NI in terms of immigration, but what worries me personally is that the English voters (given that there are more of them) will effectively decide the future for the whole of the UK. An exit could have a very significant impact on the NI economy, partly because of our land border with Eire (which has revived many previously failing border towns in particular) and the high proportion/dependency on farming in our local economy. Also, Chris & Jason you're two of my favourite forum members and I find your posts and views entertaining, so please don't fall out with me but wouldn't you emigrating from your home country to another where you think life would be better, be exactly the same thing that you're complaining about happening in England?
