  1. It's been a few years since I enquired about paint for wheels (have history lol, mine were previously black, green, orange, pink, gold ) so I might be wrong, but I didn't think you could get a decent chrome effect from a paint unless you fork out a lot of money. You might get a better finish from powdercoat. Mine are chrome finish (shadow black) from factory and have a polished lip, centres are a gift to keep clean, polished lips are not lol! Great choice of wheels btw
  2. I know you don't want to hear it, but the colour that they are would suit a red car perfectly Maybe try them on first and see if you like them, if not get a good side on pic of the car with them on it and ask if someone can photoshop some different colours for you?
  3. Car looks great Mike Did you just say 'whilst flooring it over bumps'???
  4. Am I the only one who HATES the F&F supra? If there were only two supras left in the world, one a F&F replica and the other a fully Veilside kitted one, I'd pick the Veilside... That said, each to their own, good luck with your build Ben - well done on finding a set of lenso's
  5. Cheers again for your help Ellis
  6. My gel stickers came on Saturday, would recommend - very pleased with them! I'm a bit undecided on the caps but they will do for the time being whilst I talk myself into forking out €160 for a real set lol.
  7. Surprised (and a bit sad) that you've lost the love Damien, never saw that coming. Is it the competing that you're not into? Back to just track day fun not an option bud?
  8. That looks great Jake, carbon exhaust surround is a nice touch and goes very well with the diffuser
  9. Same the kranze were nice but the new ones are amazing
  10. I ordered from https://www.stickersinternational.co.uk/ Greg I picked from a Google search as they had a £15 minimum order, most of the others I looked at either wanted set up fees or minimum of £100. No idea how good they are or what the quality is like but I'll post pics when I get them, delivery was estimated between 4-10 days

    Old owners

    Aww mate, that's a nightmare
  12. You'd be sitting on a clean fortune if you'd stashed away all your previous Supra's in a barn Scooter!
  13. People generally solder them bud apologies for stating the obvious and asking the question, but you haven't got the dash dimmer switch set to dark?
  14. Nice Would you consider some dummy rear side markers to fill the holes in the spats?
  15. You're a legend Ellis, thank you bud! Job's a good 'un
  16. Cheers Nic unfortunately they're Chevy SSR caps I was offered a set of the ones in my first post second hand for 160euros
  17. I bought some SSR SP1s recently and want to finish them off with some centre caps. To buy them new will be well in excess of £100 which I'm finding difficult to justify, so I'm going to try some diy ones to see how they turn out. I bought some merc caps that fit and was going to get some domed gel stickers made up. I've found a site that you can order online from (6 for £15) and I need to upload a decent image of the design. I can't find an image of just the logo, I only have a pic of the centre cap design that I would like. Is anyone able to either turn this into an image of the logo, or point me in the direction of someone/somewhere that can please? Or is there anyone on the forum who does this for a living that can make some for me at a similar price?
  18. I have to disagree to an extent - I've been driving mine daily for ten years next month, it's serviced religiously and *touch wood* it never lets me down. I put 100k miles on my first Supra and sold it for the same money I paid for it eight years earlier, and bought my current one for the same money I sold my last one for, which going by current prices means I'm up maybe 50% on the value of the car. Ten years with no depreciation can't be bad Servicing and maintenance is generally no more expensive than any other car. I would agree though that it's not much craic in the snow when I'm trying to get to work and worrying about binning my pride & joy, so I've learned to accept that I just need to get a bus for a week in the winter if it snows.
