  1. Are these the galvanised ones or the full Stainless Steel ones? I've just paid £70 for some and I'll try and cancel the order if they are...
  2. Has anyone got any stainless steel (not galvanised) Goodridge hoses for sale? I think these are the ones I need?
  3. What is it? It's not an Alpha one as it is too wide...
  4. Has anyone got any Goodridge stainless steel (not galvanised) brake lines in stock? Cash Waiting...
  5. I hope so, it does make sense... as long as mortgage payments don't start to sky rocket most people should be ok...
  6. Taxes are taxes, they will continue to rise. It's publicly funded money so whatever they do it'll have to be justified and eventually the tax payer will feel the pinch. House prices will fall and people will end up with negative equity but they'll rise again eventually (I Hope) Does anyone know how this will effect interest rates? Bank of England Base Rate as this is the real kicker... If interest rates increase people won't be able to pay their mortgages and then we have real problems...
  7. This is turning into a Joke, It's supposed to be motor sport not politics... The FIA are sooo up Ferrari's ar*e it's hilarious and the funniest part is that everyone seems to know it! I'm not a huge fan of Lewis as a person (he's a bit of a Chav) but his driving is beyond question and he has a fantastic attitude for someone so young. Yes he's cocky but anyone at the age of 23 at the top of their sport is going to have an heir of confidence which is perceived as 'being arrogant' He's got the skills to win this championship despite the best efforts of the FIA and I'd like to see him win, he is British after all. Massa's had a great season but unfortunately he drives for Ferrari and it's incidents like this that adds to there reputation. As far as the incident is concerned, he gave the place back and tried to make amends for cutting the corner (although it was to avoid hitting Kimi) the whole don't overtake until after the next corner thing seems to be a very grey area indeed and the penalty was far too harsh. As many people have said before, it would be a different story if it were a Ferrari gaining the advantage... I'm looking forward to Singapore anyway as it looks like rain so hopefully raikkonen will spin off and crash in a puddle again and restore a bit of balance to the world He is rubbish in the wet you have to admit?
  8. Heading over the bridge looked awesome as you can see - went off towards Kent way after the toll if I remember correctly....
  9. Thanks, shows up the dust and fingerprints a treat though
  10. I had mine sprayed in a high gloss black finish by a local spray shop - cost £120, they had them for about a week. I've got a couple of minor bubbles which weren't a problem but about a month ago noticed that the paint had lifted around the gear surround so that has cracked... (more to do with the unndercoat I used when I tried it than what they did I think) They have said they'd re-do it if anything went wrong but it's not that noticable tbh so I haven't botherred.
  11. was thinking of going to this but depends on the weather spent a rather wet day at Silverstone on Sunday
  12. Wow that's a long thread... Firstly wanted to say a massive thanks to Daman, Dibley and Steve for organising and running everything as well as everyone else who helped out (there were loads of people) As usual I couldn't remember everyones names but I'm sure I'll get there in the end I also wanted to say thanks to everyone I spoke to as we were (as always) made to feel very welcome. Zoe and I had an awesome weekend and I'm sure we'll be going again next year. The actual site was awesome, right on the sea with loads of toilet and shower facilities (although sometimes cold) We went and sat on the breakers on Sat night watching the sea come in while watching the fireworks and listening to christmas songs (very weird) The weather was awesome which helped. Was great to meet loads of new faces and some old ones - the members really made this event for us. TBH,I was a bit dissapointed with the causeway onto the island - after everything ppl had said before the event I had built it up in my mind to be some giant wave-washed wall surrounded by ocean spray and covered in half an inch of water... but it turned out in reality to be a very dry road As far as the problems went... The food and drink issue (money) was dealt with very quickly and there was never really a lack of either. The camping issue could have been a problem but our speedy aquisition of the assualt course camp site made for an awesome change from the norm. the mix up with the plot was annoying but we extended it on the Saturday which helped loads, hopefully problems like that will be resolved next year. I agree about the Location... it's too far south but until something better shows up Mersea is a good venue... Only real problem was the turnout. People took offence to the relocation, date change late planning of the event etc. which is understandable. I think this prob sums up why most people didn't turn up...
  13. Cheers to everyone who printed these out
  14. Just done yours Probox, must have missed it for some reason but its in the folder now Would I be able to ask you a massive favour and print each one? if not maybe just the people who've asked in this thread? Plus Zoe as she's asked for hers too?
  15. should be able to save the image to your computer then you can print easily from internet explorer... Has anyone got a colour printer who could print all these out? /vbb/images/smilies/bbcode_cool.gif Please?
  16. can someone test this link please? I've done a card for everyone on the paid list, unless you don't have an avatar (sorry) There's a blank one which we can write on. Has anyone got access to a colour printer who could print all these off and bring them with you? I'd do it but I'm not at work tomorrow... If we can print off a load of the blank ones we can just write additional people's names on as they arrive?
  17. no worries, I've resized them. I'll post them up on Photobucket for people to print. Is that ok?
  18. I'm sure the ones we had last year were much larger than crediit card size? but I can adjust the size accordingly no problems...
  19. ah.... there's nothing attached to the back of mine??? that'll be why my aircon's rubbish then.!!! Can someone send me a pic of what the sensor looks like as I imagine it's hanging behind the dash somewhere...
