  1. Yeah, that is nice but still not right for me I think I'm gonna have to look at a custom job to be perfectly happy
  2. It's gorgeous from the front and awesome from the sides but I can't help agreeing that from the back it does look like somethings missing.... There's a really nice spoiler in NFS Most Wanted (think it's called the viper) which looked awesome on the Supra Follows the line of the back - low and subtle...
  3. Here you go, there are a couple of others in my garage now...
  4. Due to the fact that we had yet another mental thunderstorm last night, I wasn't able to clean the gunk off the back but I did take this photo before the heavens opened. Its mainly dirt and a bit of sticky stuff which seems to come off fairly easily - the main problem is the holes. You can see the rubber seals we used, two of them had a hole in the middle so we filled them with black silicone.
  5. Yeah, mostly looks like dirt to be honest.... I'll take some photos tonight and then clean it up to do some before and after shots... The spoiler was full of really smelly water!!!
  6. Sh*t!!! Took the spoiler off yesterday and three of the four bolts sheered in half!!! Looks like I'm leaving it off for a little while then We've used some rubber bungs to fill the holes. I really like the line of the Sup without the spoiler but it's left a real mess on the paint work.
  7. I used Halfords Silicone Spray and bought RS Silicone Grease from Ebay? Dunno how good that stuff is yet....
  8. They'd prob still be wider than the spare Which I don't have! Just a can of TyreWeld in its place...
  9. I fell in love with the supereleggeras ages ago but when the ultras came out I thought I'd go for something different... Halfords have 25% off selected rims at the moment, just lucky the ones I wanted are included. sizes are as follows; Fronts - 8" - 135 x 40 x 18 Backs - 9" - 165 x 35 x 18 It cost me an extra £60 to have the dif sizes front and rear and an extra £100 for the Toyos... It'll be worth it tho I haven't got a clue about the weight.... Purely for posing purposes i'm afraid
  10. Really love the Aero, even though it was leaking Best thing I ever bought. Gonna be expensive tho, there's so much I want to buy for it
  11. Darn it... Halford's supplier are out of stock!!!! got to wait two weeks now Paid up though so just got to wait
  12. OK I've read a few threads about the whole, should I or shouldn't I argument regarding the removal of the stock spoiler so thought I'd see what it looked like without However One of only two bolts I could find to remove was attached to the support for the boot (which is very heavy!) Are those the right bolts? cos when we removed them, the spoiler was still very firmly attached...
  13. I can't believe it but I'm actually going to buy my new wheels from Halfords!!! lol Getting 18" OZ ultraleggeras, 8s on the front and 9s on the back with Toyo tyres, £1360.00 Has anyone already got Oz rims on a Sup? I've seen a few shots but none from the UK...
  14. I think it could be the window, When I took the roof off on Sunday to use the silicone spray I turned it upside down and noticed that the rubber seal that should sit either side of the glass was squashed and twisted... The silicone spray has really helped as it's only leaking on the drivers side now and only a fraction of what it was before I ordered some of that silicone grease from fleabay so I recon that should finnish the job...
  15. Nice one SteveO I forgot about eBay. I gave the silicone spray a go yesterday after yet another unproductive trip to Halfords and it seems to have worked as it rained again last night. Oh yeah, just to give you guys a laugh at my expense, I got caught with my roof off on Saturday going to Kettering and got completely soaked!!! Luckily had the towels i was using to keep the seats dry so I managed to dry it down after I got the roof back on
  16. Halfords really are useless. lol I phoned up toyota and they said they don't sell it, however they would kindly charge me £71 to smear it on themselves
  17. Has anyone had this done? Is it expensive? It'd look much better than having it slung under the rear...
  18. I'll give it a try if ever stops raining
  19. Thanks for the advice guys, I tried the vasseline this morning and it seemed to work ok but I'll get iit off after work and try some silicone grease/spray instead...
  20. Can't believe it.... First time it rained and my aerotop sprung a leak quicker than the CIA!!! I've read a couple of threads and I'm gonna try and see if i can tighten it up more. Got some Vaseline but someone said that it eats away at the rubber over time? It's dripping from the top of the A-frame where the roof meets the windscreen and dropping onto the edge of the front seats. has anyone found a solution to this and/or how much do new seals cost? Rob
  21. Only saw you at the last moment dude so I didn't get a chance to say hi. So Hi Nice Colour Car by the way
  22. Thanks for the welcome guys... Been busy last 2 days Drove to sheffield on Monday evening and I can now ofically say that I'm the proud owner of a 1993 n/a Aero :) And yes it's red, as everyone knows that Red cars go faster
  23. Went to the dentist for a filling about a month ago and she pulled a wisdom tooth out instead, fairly painless but depends on the length of the roots you'll be fine
