  1. Right... I've ordered the one from POTN so wish me luck Should be 5 - 6 weeks for delivery, well excited now...
  2. I'm not sure if the one from Knight Racer is Seibon or not... I'll ask him when he comes back to me... Nope it's not Seibon and it does have the catches, carbon bonnet arives next week
  3. Thanks for the advice guys, I think I'll try it myself... I haven't ordered it yet so I'll ask about the catches. Just checked on Miami GTs website and the bonet in question is only £589 on there. It's £650 + delivery from Knight-Racer but they're in stock now... anyone know what the quality is like?
  4. I'm getting my new bomex style front fitted by CC Styling in Peterborough (when it turns up) but they quoted me 'up to £100' to fit the Carbon Bonnet, depending on how awkward it is to fit... Is it worth the money to save the agro or is it a couple of hours on a sunday morning job? I don't mind spending time adjusting the mounts etc but if it's a real knightmare I think I might just get them to do it...
  5. I'm 6'5" and have some very enthusiastic friends Is it literally just a matter of unbolting the old one and sticking the carbon one in it's place?
  6. Hi Right, I'm fairly useless with most things mechanical but how easy is it to fit a TSII style bonnet? I've seen a couple of threads that discuss problems with the fan shroud but presuming I don't have that problem (touch wood) do you reckon I'll be able to do it? My car is an NA as it's a daily runner so can't be doing with it out of action for too long... Any thoughts?
  7. Yeah, it's a Bomex copy... The one on Miami GT is just under £400 so this one looks like really good value... I'll have a look at Monster Modz too but I think I might be the guinea pig and order this one through POTN...
  8. Hi guys Has anyone bought a kit from Streetracers UK? I'm looking to buy the Extreme Dimensions - Bomber front bumper. which is currently £264 incl vat. Is this a good quality kit and good price? Alternatively can anyone reccomend anywhere else?
  9. Ooh, Ooh, Ooh.... Changing the leds is next on my list (gonna change all mine to red) are they just standard leds? are they coloured or is it the plastic in front of them? You make spraying sound sooo easy. I've only got a small garage filled with spiders. it'd be bound to go wrong... What type of paint are you using?
  10. I don't really want to buy new panels but I've seen a couple of Sups with a really nice glossy finnish... Mine will need sanding down quite a lot as I think the previous owner re-sprayed it himself, cos it feels really soft and scratches far too easily - I want a really nice varnished finnish to show off the crome dials etc... I think I'd get Miami GT to do the work rather than me screwing it up Just wondered if anyone had seen the stick on stuff?
  11. Hi guys I'm considering painting my dash as is is currently quite scratched. I'm wondering though if you can buy the vinyl stick on (sticky back plastick) style sheets instead? has anyone bought these? are they any good?
  12. When Overdrive is off the light on the dash comes on saying so... but when I turn it on, it flashes??? Has anyone else had this problem?
  13. Countries like Sweden have been doing this for decades - I don't know how they manage it... It's illegal out there to throw recyclable waste into the main house rubbish... Question is would we really rather have a smaller bin collected more frequently???
  14. Bought my NA Aero in August and it was the best of the four I test drove, despite having 130k on the clock - the only one that came close only had 55k on the clock but they wanted £2000 more than I paid for mine! The interior is tired and the seats could do with re-upholstering (more from the leaky Aero top than age) - Scratched dash and worn carpets but nothing awful. I was told that the engines are good for 200k and mine is a fantastic drive
  15. I've got that too.... I'll be interested to see how it's resolved. Also got a 43? I Think that was it... It's the throttle control anyway...
  16. Yeah, our green bin came in very usefull when I cut a couple of trees down in our garden... the thing was constantly full of four foot logs for about two months Saved me going to the tip tho
  17. They've chipped all the bins so they can tell whose chucking how much... I don't have that much of a problem with it really, I just recycle more stuff than I throw away now, guess that's the idea... If we over-fill our bins 3 times in a row they send you a disciplinary letter and if you ignore it again they just stop collecting your rubbish...
  18. Errr isn't that what the tip is for? Our recycling bins are fairly strict too. Plastic, Tins, Newspapers etc but they don't recycle glass cos it has to be sorted by hand... basically anything with a recycling symbol on it... How on earth did you fit a ironing board in a wheelie bin
  19. Sexy, Stylish and more fun than you can shake a Playboy Bunny Girl's tail at
  20. I've missed a couple, mainly cos I'm usually not paying enough attention. I always give other drivers a flash tho if I see them in time It's nice to have a bit of camaraderie on the roads
  21. One question I've been asked a few times is the old 'what would you say your main weaknesses are?' question... try and think of something you could improve and turn it into a positive. If you're genuinly interested in the job, that will come acccross in the interview. 32 Jobs! thats a lot to apply for... what do you do?
  22. Hmmmn... It's very dif to tell with such a low res image... the edges of the roof are more pixelated than the rest of the car but the shadowing matches... How does the roof go up??? I'd love to see an original photo
  23. looks quite nice but it's blatantly just a Photoshop The amount of work to get that done would cost the earth... One hell of a unique Sup though
  24. Thanks dude, I only got my OZs last month and curbed them on Saturday to avoid some idiot in an astra
