Launch price is supposed to be around £400 - which isn't really that much considering that it's got Blue Ray - the 360's HD DVD component has just been anounced at £150 ish... so that makes the PS3 better value off the mark!!!

You've got 14 days grace period (from the DVLA) before it needs to be off the road. The police will stop you if you don't have a valid tax disc displayed though but if you buy it online you get a reference number so it's completely legal. Renewing online was really easy and my tax disc turned up within 2 days! You need a computerized MOT certificate though... can't do it online without one
