Not doubting that it looks great in anyway but there wasn't supposed to be any visible joins - like on this one... The guys have replaced the passenger side rear quarter after someone reversed into the car. So I decided to get the trial rear blended in at the same time (seemed to make sense)

Thanks guys - I think I will try and get them to blend it in as it really will drive me crazy every time I clean her otherwise... I'm just going crazy having to drive the Escort to work Typically I've been trying to get rid of it for ages and now I don't have the Sup to drive 2 people have asked if it's still for sale!!! Both wanted a cheap car right now.... That's another £300 I've missed out on.... lol Bl**dy typical...

Just had my Trial rear fitted and I'm sure you'll agree the work looks fantastic... Unfortunately it was supposed to be blended in completely... if you look near the lines you can see the join at the rear quaters! They have acknowledged that someones got confused at some point and offered me £100 off as it hasn't been fully blended. But what should I do? A) Leave it as it is, save a bit of cash and get pissed off with my self everytime I look at the join? or B) See if they'll blend it in and risk not having the car for even longer? I really am stuck and would appreciate your opinions...

Not sure if the standard arches are compatible with the bomex, it's got bolt holes etc. So I'm hoping someone has managed to make them fit... I got my Bomex front from Knight Racer, supplied, fitted and painted. Very happy with the work so far. The car is with them at the moment having more bodywork done... I seem to remember that Lui had arch linings so hopefully he'll be able to tell us if his were stock or not?

I'd rather look into doing it legit than just turning up in a carpark. and risk being moved on... There would be no problem with us just parking outside a well lit bar but we wouldn't be able to reserve spaces... I work for the local council so might look into it further... Would be good to find somewhere with food and drink nearby

Has anyone managed to fit the stock arch linings to the Bomex front? Mine hasn't got them attached at the moment and makes the front look rather flimsy IMO...

Just did a member search... there are 20 members in Beds and 30 in Cambs so should be able to gage a bit of interest... Have you got any ideas for location? Bridge Street in St Ives would be awesome but it's public parking so don't know how that would work... Really well lit and right in the middle of town...

Nice looking engine that's got me thinking... I was always planning to go for a engine swap to a TT but those pics have really made my mouth water... vids don't work for me either...

I was thinking of doing this but none of the kits i've seen for the Sup get the doors completely vertical... Usually just goes to a 45/50 degree angle. Are there issues getting the door to 90 degree angle? I saw a big guy strugle to get out of a Sup with lambo style doors at JAE last year so changed my mind... Has anyone got any pics of one of the decent kits fitted? It would be really great to be able to park in a carpark and get out easily
