  1. Have you gone for the new digital kit? My old boss spent nearly £2000 on track and cars
  2. very tempted by these... wish I had some spare cash
  3. ahhh, I was chatting to Jason at Ace in January - bit of a pipe dream at the moment but i'd love to get it done I'll have to have a chat with him at the next meet and see what's involved.
  4. Welcome mate Good luck with the search
  5. Is it just linked in via the key fob then??? have you got any pics? I quite like the idea of the wing mirror buttons to be honest Just photoshoped mine out and it looks awesome
  6. I've noticed a few threads asking about this but has anyone actually done it? There was a mention about having to have manual entry to the vehicle for the MOT but my mates Tuscan had a button for entry under the wing mirrors and there was def no way of climbing out of the boot? I guess this requirement is for the emergency services to get into the vehicle rather than the driver getting out as you'd still have handles on the inside wouldn't you?
  7. Damn it!!! it was dry last time I looked out I need to fit my fogs at some point but really don't know if I dare... Need to fix my Cig lighter too as its not working
  8. That's incredible... I use photoshop everyday for work but could never imagine doing something like that!!! I wish I could draw
  9. Awww she's beautiful I didn't look at the date at the beginning of the Thread... It really does go quickly... lol Gettin all broody now
  10. Oh, is that what everyone was looking at!!!! Thought it looked weird... We had fantastically clear skies over Cambridgeshire tonight and the moon looked amazing Didn't realize it was an eclipse I was on the way to a club tho after spending all night in the pub... so amazed I even noticed everyone staring into the sky
  11. I haven't ordered them yet... Unfortunately I don't have any spare cash at the moment as I'm paying for a lot of bodywork These sils will def be my next big project, once I've got the cash maybe we could get Miami GT to donate a set to use for the project??? I hear they're awesome guys!!!
  12. While I do enjoy the harmless side of the hovis style threads... I do think it would put off some potential / new members. This forum has a great social atmosphere and is packed with helpfull people who provide excellent advice and really know their stuff. However... I've visited several other Jap car forums via cross links on threads etc. and it does seem that we have a bit of a reputation...? Perhaps threads that are likely to cause offense should be in a paid up members only section with a big 'at your own risk' disclaimer on it? I'm not a big fan of the nanny state but if Racist comments aren't tolerated on here, should sexist ones? It is a public forum after all... Plenty to think about.
  13. Hi Jez... Nice to see another red Sup in the area
  14. Hi Very clean looking car you've got there... and in the best colour too I saw it from my office window.. Hadn't seen the car b4 and didn't know if you'r a member already so I popped a card under the wiper, hope you don't mind.
  15. Thanks Si... I'll send you a PM with the details you've asked for.
  16. Hi Si A few friends of mine are going to this via a friend on Marham... Unfortunately I'm not gonna be taking the Sup round the track as it needs too much work to get it track ready at the moment. Question is would I be able to drive onto base as a support vehicle? My mate wants someone to bring his spare wheels and tools etc...? Rob
  17. Web Administrator / Designer for Local Government Authority - Currently waiting for my boss to leave so I can slither my way further up the food chain
  18. Yep she's blatantly in the wrong.... Completely illegal sitting in hatching (even if you do need to do it to see the traffic) so try and get them to put that statement in writing as it will speed up the process no end Get plenty of photos of the junction and draw some diagrams of where each vehicle was... I do sympatise with her as sometimes it is difficult to see traffic but if your obviously having to break the law and an accident results, why deny it???
  19. there was a thread on here a while ago which used that photo... few people said the fitting was bad...
  20. I phoned my local Toyota dealer and they quoted me £475 for fluids filters plugas and the belt change... That's for a J-Spec import too...
  21. Yep, I either need to find someone locally to get the converter fitted and hope they can work out what's going on or pop over to Thor and let the guys there replace the whole lot with a more reliable installation. Option B is sounding like a plan (as soon as I've saved up the pennies that is) I was planning on getting a glo-dial kit anyway so I'll prob try and get it all done at the same time... Thanks for all your advice...
  22. The speedo shows both mph and kmph togeather so how can one be correct and the other wrong??? lol What's a DSC?
  23. The speedo currently show mph and kmph side by side up to 180 kmph and 112mph The car has been delimited as I've clocked it well above the limited speed using gps but the needle just goes past the marked speeds of the speedo right round to the begining (if I go fast enough)
  24. Problem with just changing the dial faces is that if I was to switch from a 112mph speedo to a 180mph is that my needle would still continue round to the wrong side of zero agin? If I just change the dial face it'll be completey wrong??? Surely it must need re-calibrating somehow (or direct replacement of the whole unit) I'm confused :-(
