  1. what's the rear spoiler you've fitted? looks nice, although i think that a bgw is def in order to go with that kit good job.
  2. £650 is pretty cheap for a carbon bonnet and there is a chance you won't have a perfect fit, if you do go for it, get the people who supply it to fit it as any damage/faults will be their responsability, you can re-do the clear coat if you get scratches or stone chips but any stress fractures will still show through. Carbon Bonnets (even the cheaper ones) are way lighter than the stock one having replaced mine and lifted both of them on my own. Bonnet Pins are a must... carbon flexes like hell and I didn't feel safe until I got them fitted. (aero catches look the nuts as well) As far as the look goes, I got fed up with people asking why my bonnet was a different colour and my mates constantly taking the piss asking if it'd been in an accident but more annoying than that was the constant ribbing I get for eventually painting a £700 carbon bonnet to match the rest of the car! Having said that it depends what look your going for, the flip paint, carbon and veilside kit would certainlly go together and get some attention at shows but if your going to be driving the car a lot the type of attention you get isn't always favourable. What kit and paint you end up going for reallly depends on your personal taste but I'd really reccomend doing your research before spending the cash annd make sure you get it fitted at a decent bodyshop as the last thing you want are stress cracks and wonnky gaps. Personally I don't think you can beat the oem skirts and spoiler or maybe the GReddy one there are loads of front and rear kits that compliment the Supra nicely though, check the threads below to give you some ideas of kits available and you can quickly see how stuff looks on real cars. Front kits Rear kits Side Skirts and Spats have fun. Rob

  6. Just wanted to say thanks to everyone who voted for Zoe and I. We arrived at the Pro Drive Test Track in Warwickshire this morning at 9am, signed in and got our free english breakfast as prommised First Challenge was Cops and Robbers where we had to chase a racing driver round a track, collecting the bags of swag they threw out of the car as we went. Was a real laugh and my first time on a track so a bit mental, did well and didn't stall it in front of everyone Zoe bless her was picked to drive first and did an awesome job, only just got beaten by the pro driver after a narrow miss with a pheseant! Second event was the pit stop challenge, where we were split into mens and womens team and had to rebuild a partly dismantled Leon, just basic stuff like wheels brake pads lights, wing mirrors etc plus a baby seat and baby which was defeating some of the male teams. We came first out of our group and I think we had the fastest time of the day with 24 mins of the alloted hour left when we finished. Final challenge was a stunt drive session on the skid pan with some excellent teachers including Tom Onslo Cole, Phil Glew and Adam Jones loads of others I didn't get to drive with but all very friendly. J Turns, Drifting, ABS turns and speed lane changes made the afternoon very challenging but loads of fun. Unfortunately we didn't make it through for the final, one of the guys in my group did though really nice chap called Andy (very carrismatic), I think I may have been concentrating too hard on the driving and not enough on the cameras Would really reccomend it to anyone who gets the chance. Thanks again Rob & Zoe
  7. not sure yet, they've said the top 100 have received an invite to the pro-drive test track auditions but haven't received any details yet. Fingers crossed. All I just have to do now is drive well and be rather entertaining on camera
  8. Thanks for all the votes people, we're number 20 so looks like we're on to the audition stage at least
  9. lol, sorry to dissapoint Thanks for the votes guys.
  10. Didn't realise it was finishing. It's def fifth gear tho. They must be doing another series, have a look on the site. Weird. Cheers for the help guys :-)
  11. Cheers dude, should be a good laugh if we get through.
  12. Me and the missus are trying to get on Fifth Gear to compete in the Seat Sex Drive Challenge where the pit men against women to see who are the better drivers. We need to get votes on Facebook (you'll need a profile to vote) to get to the auditions and would both really appreciate your help, just click the link below to go to their website and search for rob or zoe Seat Sex Drive Challenge https://www.club-seat.co.uk/ssdrive/images/take-part-vote-for-challenge.jpg Let me know if you have any problems with the link Thanks Guys Rob Purkiss
  13. not sure about the black but then I'm biased Good luck mate. They'll look awesome.
  14. can anyone suggest a good supplier? Toyota want £40 each for the drop links... I need to get another quote before I decide...
  15. just need the drop links and bushes for the rear but thanks
  16. Please can someone supply me with rear drop links and bushes to attach to the rear anti roll bar?
  17. good thread this even if it has been ressurected from the grave I have similar sounding knocking from mine, had it up on the ramp and one of my bushes on the rear anti roll bar is trashed... Also found uneven wear on the inside of that rear tyre! Gonna change the bushes and droplinks at the rear (+two new tyres) and see if that fixes it... if not I'm gonna start checking the subframe bolts. Thanks for the advice, hope everyone ends up with a "quiet" ride in the end
  18. Wayne, Check what type of file type the printing company needs as we used one company that wanted specific file types which we couldn't create correctly via Photoshop. If they're happy to accept a Jpeg then don't worry it's just that some companys use vector based graphics to print each colour at a time...
  19. first time I've ever had even a hint of a problem with it in nearly 3 years! yep it's an elite. Worst timing ever!!!
  20. what! how the? with the... not fair!!!!! Thats the one with the night vision goggles too!
  21. Rising Sun Licence Plate Aero Bonnet Catches
  22. me and him are going down the pub b4 hand and then over to game for midnight cases of rebull are on standby.
  23. Forgot to say... I've created some Aero bonnet catches on the StoreFront if anyone fancies some? they're only 1k and look pretty good. Just search for bonnet catches and you'll find em. Also done a rising sun style rear plate which fits the supra nicely - search for rising sun plate and you'll find it. Oh and I'll try and get a cheaper club logo up as soon as possible too
