Hi Guys I've got a whining noise coming from the power steering when the engine's cold in sync with the revs. I'm hoping it's just that the fluid is low or it might indicate the pump itself needs changing but first step is to check the fluid level - I can't see a level mark inside the fluid container. Can someone direct me to what I'm sure is going to be a fairly obvious indicator? The fluid looked very dark and I'm sure needs changing but I don't want to get the garage to flush the system if there is enough fluid, which would indicate that it's the pump that's gone as they'll only have to do it again. Doing mine at the moment, waiting for it to dry after cleaning it - hopefully can get the dye on tomorrow as the weather forecast looks pretty dry. Made about £3/£4 in change plus I know for certain it's a J-Spec now too

my mate did that parade at Rockingham, said it was an awesome day but they didn't get the record as the stipulations on what constitutes a convoy were a bit too strict, people kept on bunching up and shooting off iirc, must have been cool though.

right, that gives me enough to start with and make a bit of a mess at least. Really appreciate your help guys, just need to get some tiny tiny spade connectors now. not sure where locally will sell them, I've only ever used maplin online.

connectors are much smaller on the new switch, any suggestions on where to get the female receptors from and how to splice onto the wires? I normally grab stuff from maplin but wasn't sure if i could find stuff like this locally? Found these but not sure on sizes etc.

The current switch is a rocker - the new one is a latching switch but both should do the same job and illuminate an led to indicate that it's on (i hope) Kev, that sounds about Right I guess for the existing connections and the logic applies to the new switch too then but do I just leave the other two connections free on the new switch then Listy?

I was hoping to upgrade my fog light switch, but the connectors are different at the back, can anyone recommend a method to switch the wires over? Currently I have one red one black and one green but have five pins on the back of my new switch. They're both 12v but not sure how to wire it up?

Looks awesome, cheers for the help guys. Does anyone know if I need to rewire anything when swapping from Standard J-Spec to Facelift fronts and rears? - the side lights are obviously different as the "igloos" aren't present on the newer ones.

it's non facelift, I have j-spec lights that were modded by Jon a few years back to look facelift but I've got bad moisture in one of them so gonna bite the bullet and get some propper ones. part number would be awesome if you can find it.

can anyone confirm part no's for facelift fronts and rears as my local Mr T have said there are two possible versions of facelift fronts, one produced from 96 - 97 and another from 97 onward.

looks awesome are the lenses def diff sizes to pre-facelift then? Not sure I can bring my self to destroy a set of facelifts just for the lenses...

I'm waiting for them to gget back to me, Lights don't have to be new as long as they're in good condition.

Fronts and rears wanted - preferably new

Planning on buying a set of new Facelift rears and wonderred if anyone has done the clear lense mod for the indicators? I bought a old set of J-Specs years ago but never got round to doing it. I have the clear lenses and a set of chromed indicators sat waiting but just wondered if anyone had tried this with facelifts? Main thing I need to check is that the lense sizes are the same? Also does anyone have a photo of the mod done? I'm sure it'd look awesome but it'd be nice to see before I crack open a brand new set of lights.
