  1. I've had some real downers with regards to relationships since I joined the club and thought I'd share a bit of good news I've spent the last month or so trying to get in touch with my Ex Fiancé (don't roll your eyes yet, I'll give you some back story) We split up in 2002 after she became seriously I'll with belimia... She was living in Hospitals and clinics and our relationship had completely deteriorated due to her illness, she had pretty much decided to give up on life... I made the very difficult decision that it was really down to her to help her self and that despite all the trying there was nothing more I could do, we parted very painfully but I got back on track and eventually sorted my life out.. About a year later I heard that she had became a bit better and that she'd moved out of hospital... We both promised to keep in contact but unfortunately time passed and we both lost each others numbers and eventually had no way to contact each other... {forward 4 years} After splitting up with my most recent GF of 2 years... I did some serious thinking and reflected on other recent events... I came to the conclusion that life is just too short and it's not worth having regrets like that hanging over me... So decided to try and get back in contact with her... She wasn't online anywhere, so resorted to contacting old friends and acquaintances but the only number I found was an old disconnected one One Friday after work I decided that I'd drive to her Nan's old house about 60 miles away and get in contact that way, however it turned out that her Nan had moved to Bristol over three years ago! At this point I had come to the concluson that I'd never hear from her again... Luckily however, the woman living there now, still had contact details and kindly passed my number onto her Nan who in turn passed it on to Michaele I got a very nice phone call that night and did the whole catching up thing and we decided to meet up... She's much better and a far stronger person now. We had a fantastic evening catching up and turned out that we've both still got very deep feelings for each other and promptly fell in love all over again I've been walking on air since Monday and can honestly say I've never been happier... I just wanted to share a bit of good news (hopefully bring a smile to one or two faces) and say a huge thanks to everyone who cheered me up during my breakup.

  8. I was thinking of bringing my Poker kit to JAE... Would people be up for a few friendly hands??? Only problem would be the lack of a table... Tescos are selling Patio furniture for pennies but getting the table in the car might be a challlenge... Any other Ideas? /vbb/images/smilies/bbcode_grin.gif
