I got fed up of trying to do mine and took it to local spray shop not perfect but looks 1000% better than my effort

Needs polishing but you get the general idea I've smoothed over the ashtray and the cigarette lighter.

Yeah, lots of stainless bevels etc brake up the black nicely. Mine's not a perfect finnish but looks great if you don't scrutinise it too closely

I've gone for a high gloss black finnish on mine looks wicked...

yes they do hurt... plastiic BBs sting like fu*k but no real lasting damage

bare in mind that they aren't green bulbs they just have a little green sleeve over them... mine did anyway...

Steve Please can I have the speedhut logo and the unleaded fuel only removed from mine too please? Also can I have a custom logo added to the rev counter and the speed up to 200mph? Rob

that's incredible! I never realised that detailing would actually remove that much of the scratches etc. I'm tempted to get this done before show season I'm happy to spend endless hours cleaning mine but I never get that sort of finnish!!! Well done guys Just out of interested what sort of prices have people paid to have their cars detailed?

My first crash happened on black ice at the end of my road.... I was in my mkiv Escort and went tootling down the road towards the junction, going 'very, very' slowly as it was icy... saw this guy in an old astra on the next road so I applied the brakes gently, and... nothing.... at this point I try them much harder and ... nothing... the guy in the astra realised that I couldn't stop and hit his brakes too, and.... nothing... we were both doing less than about 5mph but there was nothing either of us could do we just looked at each other, shrugged and whinced as the cars bounced off of each oter No damage to his at all but my body coloured bumper was all cracked... fixed it with some duck tape and it stayed like that til the day I sold her

I think for the first time ever... I'm single on Valentines day! I'm a real old romantic so tonight is probably gonna suck big time... only split up with the missus about a month ago so still very weird... On the bright side I shan't be spending lots of money on flowers and dinner either
