My supe has been laid up since the monsoon season started, anyway, I got bored of driving the family deutschewagon around, so I arranged an MOT date, She failed on supposedly blue side lights, actually white with a blue tint, so I put the old orange looking ones back, also headlight adjustment, and non working rear fogs, Oh I got an advisory on my Super Drager for noise??? I have a silly red rocker on the dash to switch on the rear fogs. Do most importers rewire two of the rear brake lights, using relays? And are they usually fitted behind the dash, I have only had time to trace what seems to be non factory spliced wires to the pedals. Also is there a standard fog switch on a UK spec , I can replace the daft looking red light rocker(which does light) I have at the mo.

My Supra came with paperwork from the importer saying the correct mileage was iirc 20k less than was shown, due to the conversion from km to miles, it however wasn't a condition of sale for me, as I wasn't paying over the odds for the car, and the mileage wasn't overly high, so I never tried to check it, so it may well be horse excrement.

A Supra is a GT a Porsche 911 is a sports car, people bang on about feeling one with a car, imo you can in a great sports car even an mx5, not so much in a GT they're too soft, i like a play in the supra as much as the next owner, but it is no sports car. I was'nt looking for or expecting a sports car when i bought the supra, i wanted a rapid cruiser i could also have fun with. It is a bonus that Supra box is so good, i own a mustang which has the worst auto box ive driven, wouldnt want it manual though.

Actually in my case i specifically wanted an auto, i had no interest in the manual, imo the supra is a GT car as opposed to a sports car, yes the differences between the two types of car can blur, so it is a matter of opinion. I will say if i ever get a Porsche 911 TT i would probably want manual, outside that can't see myself ever wanting a manual, other than for a specific track day car.

There is no accounting for taste, and can the owner seriously think he/she will get but a fraction of what there asking.

Without a test drive, as this could quite easily change my mind, in order SLS, GT2, Ferrari, but ive always Coveted a 911.

I'd be glad to see the back off road humps, my hks dragger hangs pretty low so theyre a royal pita for me, 20mph zones would be prefferable. The roads stateside are generally better, but not everywhere, there are dips in Manhattan you could lose a Supra in.

Sorry to see that, I've u used Nitromoors, it only bubbles up the layers ready for scraping off. I agree it looks like an accident as it would have been on the roof otherwise,as was said with some form of acid.
