My perception of MOT places is many/most wouldn't know what's standard, I would imagine if they see one cat they wouldn't be looking for another, unless the Shi.ny cat replacement is a giveaway

As far as I know, if it was built with it, it should still be on for MOT, some stations are friendlier than others though. I'm sure someone here knows for definite. I take it you meant replace the decat?

Just had this a couple of weeks ago on a retest, failed on no windscreen washer, but he said I could fault find there n then, if I fixed it he would give me a pass. I found mine were reversed, so he passed it, his words were, not interested in the rear, as for the front as long as A button (any button) works the fronts its a pass.

My other arf, is too scared to drive it, and calls it my low slung sports car, says she misses my old Audi S2.

Thanks Gaz. Hi Jake u have a boot lid with just the nut and the driveplate under it, not much to grip from the underside to allow me to get the nut off. Would it be easier with the motor attached, didn't think that would hold it, as its very tight.

I recently, swapped over my tailgate for a better one, anyhow apart from the fact all that glass makes it all very heavy, the only thing left to swap over, is where the rear wiper goes the big nut, and the driveplate That connects to the wiper motor. Any tips or just be brutal, doesn't matter about the tailgate its on.

My Pioneer fits ok, I thought any standard 2 din would.

Do the lotto u might be lucky again. I don't have anything against plod, but goading people into speeding isn't on, happened to me when I was WAY younger, after a blat unmarkd cavalier, blues n.towo'd me in a Capri, he let me off though. And the priceless one, plod gets caught doing silly speeds on some M road, goes to court, and pleads he was testing the unmarked vehicle at speed, then gets off.!!

I think most on here, who could afford a wheel like that would have one, me included, love it.

Can't say I would normally go for a yellow car, but looking at yours, I think with gunmetal alloys, black calipers with yellow wording, WOWZA.

Thanks for the part number Nos DNK Im missing a few things out of that picture, I have a pre facelift like in the pic, but I only recognise the mirror control, I have a button to fold the mirrors in too, but is that a headlight adjuster I spy there? Did Supes have these? iirc the last time I took the dash out, on the rear there was a raised plastic indication of where this button should go. That steering wheel is also hideous, I would swap with mine to save your eyes.
