so doing something a little special and having a book published of the Restoration First edition being printed now for the show then ill add more for the second edition next year

So Springs came back restored and all shocks fitted, looks little high but just been lowered not moved but can lower front and raise rear if needed After 20 months she drove out of the unit under her own steam today

So It Just needed adjusting tps may have been little sticky but all good now

So may have a problem with the throttle body as some know the vvti has drive by wire and we think the electric motor may have problem James is doing loads electrical tests but not much info regarding this I have sent 2x spare I have to him, 1 has similar fault that I had on a sporting bears day event ,other untested both have all sensors so hopefully he can sort it out if anybody has any links for info on these please message me direct as not to clog up this thread thanks

So This happened today James first primed the fuel system then it started first time and sounds sweet 59116cc3-0300-4327-8788-a84da98d6437.mp4

So James got all the plates bits back for the starter motor rebuilt and swapped with the spare which was on to test

So the Metal brackets that hold the splitter on is no longer available and mine were missing which is no surprise as they are ally and perish James fabricated up some from a single one he had and epoxy primed and painted

the vvti shouldn't vent to atmosphere I had a hks blowoff valve specific for the vvti I think I still have it in a box somewhere

Springs gone off for blasting and painting James added extra grooves to the shocks to get ideal height This is something chris Wilson does as they tend to sit high

Yep no front plate for as long as I can Not had one on the lc for couple years

So Kane painted up the centre caps for the wheels as the wheel guy didn't want to do them due to the age Kane says they great match as the wheel guy gave him paint He also did the front lip as a new one has not appeared yet and we feel it might not Front Bumper fitted

James been plying with the suspension Recently and the bellows on the shocks are not in great condition but my very original suspension bellows are in great condition, glad I kept everything from years ago

Wheels gone off for blasting and painting with brand new Bridgestone fitted

So James fabricated the second decat pipe so it fits pufectly to the racing catalytic converter and the original rear pipe Then painted in high temp paint to mach the rest

Oem exhaust Restored polished up test fitted, James is going to make a mid pipe to go from the Cat to the oem exhaust so it fits perfect instead of reusing my Chris Wilson decat. Plastics all fitted to engine bay New grills for the side pods
