Ian, would heating the valve cap gently with something like a lighter, blow torch on low setting help at all. As the different metals will expand at different temperatures, this should free up the threads hopefully.

Just got off the phone to Geo guys as it does look very cheap. He thought he had put £380 but is away fromt he computer just now so cannot edit. Will get him to edit the price when he gets in. Still very cheap though in my opinion??

Looking really good dude. Definate progress. With the FMIC, its a kit for the 2jzgte so should be a direct fit. You should be able to adjust the angle of the FMIC piping easy enough to work around the aircon pipes. Just need to find out what size fitting is on the mani and your good to go again and order a wastegate (dont tell the missus, more bits of expensive metal is all she will see it as). lol

This manifold that Geo has bought from Whifbitz, can anyone tell me the type of fitting for the wastegate please. It looks like a 50mm V-band fitting but want to double check. Many thanks.

Yeah be well worth it in the end dude. These things always happen, unless you go and get every single thing needed for the project. But things will still crop up. Bet you cannot wait for it to be done, i cant either, want to have a go!!

2 Stone is easy to lose dude. I was only 13stone 4 and i have lost 2 stone on my cutting diet in the last 10 weeks. People that are bigger tend to lose it quicker too. whats your current/intended diet?

Yeah bomex replica. Suppose if the quality is good then the price is very good. Always very reluctant to skinp when buying body panels though as its always going to effect the whole look of the car if they fit poor.

Thanks mate, found some nice ones actually and they are very cheap. Other things take priority with money at the moment but shall order some of these soon.

I would personaly revert back to the stock airbox as said above. Looks good mate but stock box will be better as this will suck alot of heat in from the engine bay i would imagine.
