  1. Thanks Scott. I did know what I was doing and j couldn't take a picture because my belt span off when the crank pulley outer part snapped off. I got the crank pulley changed and new one on in 45 minutes . Just needed to know about the belt and sorted it in the end. Thanks a lot mate.
  2. Yes aux belt I mean and tensionwr? Is that the free moving pullet that doesn't have guiding teeth on?
  3. Can someone post a picture or diagram of te way the timing belt goes onto the pulleys please. I have just changes the crank pulley and all the ways I have tried it's been seriously slack. Thank.
  4. Look a good fit mate, well done, amazing price for the kit!"
  5. It did lol. Or something did as the underbonnet carpet or whatever its called is now ripped and wasnt before.. It was fun seeing all the fan blades fly out behind the car
  6. Guess i was just unlucky, can imagine they spin at some speed so when it sheared off it must have just went into the spinning fan. Made a really big bang when it went. S0dding car, least there isnt any damage to the engine.
  7. The car looks like its been flatted mate and not polished or laquered?
  8. I think a friend will be helping me with it this weekend but it does look a hard job just getting the old one off!! Yeah it is a shame, im gutted, would be ok if i was driving quick but i was driving economically.. Guess these things just go through wear and tear. As soon as its fixed the supra is going. Dont want it or the running costs anymore. Probably sell it dirt cheap too to get rid.
  9. See i have none of these parts unfortunately, trying to find someone that will lend me them for the weekend then ill send them back. Desperate to get it done as need the car for everyday use and i cannot afford to get a garage to do it unfortunately.
  10. As an update on this, does anyone have on i can borrow lol. Desperate to get mine changed this weekend after my outer pulley flew off and smased at the weekend.
  11. Hi mate, did you change this yourself. The exact same happened to me the other day, mine has flown off somewhere on a byepass though along with most of the blades off my fan. I have ordered my bits and having to fit it myself which i hear is an absolute nightmare.
  12. Ah right. Thats what smashed the fan to pieces then. S0dding car. Dreading fitting it
  13. Does anyone have a pivture of the pulley on the car. Mine doesn't look like them. Seems a lot smaller.
  14. Email sent Chris, still open to suggestions from others if i dont get the one from chris for whatever reason.
  15. Hi all, last night i went for a drive in the supra and heard a big bang and lost all power steering and saw bits fly out from the back of the car. Got the AA out and they have said the crank shaft pulley has gone and as the guider bits of it flew off they smashed the fan to pieces. Im no without a car and need these bits asap. Money is very tight unfortunately so if anyone has second hand ones i could buy can you let me know asap please. Thanks. Are these hard to fit??
  16. Thanks nic, well annoyed as i assume my supra 94 has the earlier 2pot calipers on the front and its definitely the big square pads i have been sent......
  17. Thanks mate, I cannot see this at work unfortunately as its blocked. I did try google first but no luck at work. Will try look at home.
  18. As per title, i have ordered some pads for the supra which is 94 n/a manual j-spec. They dont look like i remember them to so could someone possibly post a picture of the correct pads before i was ages taking the old ones off the realise they dont fit. Thanks very much!
  19. Need these asap as i wasnt aware how much they had worn down until its metal on metal now.
  20. Bump for steve. We realised he needs new o rings today as one is missing. Any ideas again? Thanks.
  21. I know what you mean but i very much doubt i will be in a position to blow £500 on something like this in a long time.......... I am not too fussed if it alters the feel of the suspension too much as the car isnt in use an awful lot anyway. I think it should have failed on these parts but didnt
