  2. Looking for a black bumper with an active spoiler, preferably not needing resprayed. Also looking for an aerial mast, don't need any of the electrics, just the aerial itself. Black door cards in good condition with original speaker grills. Thanks, Steven.
  3. Does anyone know if a NA front bumper is exactly the same as a TT bumper? I am also looking for an active spoiler, just the spoiler itself not all the electrics etc.

  12. Thanks nic, but unfortunately I'll be going used, need to watch the pennys, as christmas is just round the corner.
  13. Preferably run at standard boost. Steven
  14. All sorted now, eventually found out what was wrong. Thanks Chris
  15. I've spliced into the brown/red wire, with the blue VFCC wire going into the ecu.
  16. I have fitted the VFCC but am still hitting fuel cut, opened the cover on the box and the red led is on. The instructions state that no lights should be on at idle. Any ideas as to what the problem is? St3ven1
  17. will take £100ono including delivery. Cost £140 new
  18. The disks are Quinton Hazel, Part No: BDC4918 They are vented rear disks. Hope this helps. Postage would be £14 as they are quite heavy. Local collection is also ok.
  19. I have a pair of the larger 323mm(roughly) rear brake discs. Brand new, never been fitted. think i am right in saying these will fit uk spec and j-spec with the brake upgrade. Asking £100 +PP. Would however, prefer to swap for a pair of the smaller rear disks. Thanks St3ven1
  20. Try Bell, i was insured for £1000 fully comp when i was 20 on a J-spec TT6. Mind you, my postcode probably helps me alot, i live in a small town. Also try playing about with online quotes, i don't mean lie. Just lower your annual milage, add your mum, drive another car on a regular basis (regular is very subjective, christmas is regular ) you will be surprised how much of a difference it can make. Goodluck.
  21. Hey bolarbag, I too consider myself a pretty sensible driver IMHO. Have been in all of my cars, zero points on my licence. Used to get 450miles to 45L in my celica. That was driving it granny style, 6th gear at 30mph. Took the traction control off late last night on my way home, blipping the throttle to see how easy it was to lose traction in the wet. It'll take a bit of getting used to. I've done the skid control course at knockhill which was really interesting, especially finding out the best action to take to control oversteer. The instructors are really helpful, would definately recommend it. Ps. 10mpg, sounds like you are a conservative driver! Sorry couldn't resist.
