  1. That's what I was thinking, bet that makes a subtle noise. Looks like a modified bailey dump valve.

    Fill 'er Up!

13.8 MPG based on £1.42/L. Pretty poor, sure everything is working okay?
  3. Front OEM bumper lip? Not the active spoiler one just the one that attaches to the bottom of the front bumper.
  4. Personally I wouldn't fit a diffuser to this car. You have kept it a perfect OEM example externally so far, and I wouldn't ruin it by fitting that diffuser. This is just my opinion. If I may be as bold as to make some small suggestions: Some silver front indicator bulbs will eliminate all the orange reflection in the front clear indicators. Possibly a small tint on the rear quarter lenses to make them the same shade as the front ones. And bin/move the magic tree. The car is looking excellent though, OEM and active spoiler equals massive win. You must be very proud.

  6. Good place to start: http://mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?275173-Paul-brown-cars/page3 Post #34.
  7. Thinks to note would be the position of the service sticker on the air intake in the engine bay, the type of batter fitted and the tax disc holder. Do you recognize any of these parts? As it's a totally OEM car it's harder to tell it apart especially as they don't quote the mileage. I take it your car was a 1996 model? Really feel gutted for you, must be a horrible feeling knowing this has happened. Just a shame you never frequented the forum more often, there may have been people who could have helped you to get it sorted out cheaper.
  8. You will not have an adjuster in your car, as mentioned it's only the UK spec cars that have it.
  9. Go for the cheapest one, as once it's set you won't be looking at it again.
  10. Might want to read post 11 of this thread as it appears the FCD wasn't correctly installed in this guide.
  11. You have had the car resprayed three times in a year! Have to say I do prefer the finished article to the previous incarnations.
  12. Looks to me like it has been welded before. So probably not the first time this has happened.
  13. That's what happens when you cross an I-pad with an F-pad!
  14. I'd also be dubious about the fact he says it's a 97 but it doesn't have any facelift body panels or any facelift interior. I've seen 96 cars with both. Even if it was a late 96 car registered 97 it would more than likely have some facelift features.
  15. I certainly wouldn't say it's under priced! The engine bay condition does not lead me to believe this car has only done 45k miles. Looks more like 145K than 45K. But this is just my observation. It has a UK spec speedo, again just an observation, doesn't detract from the car. I wouldn't be looking at a supra for a car as a toy "for a few months" unless it was really cheap, in which case you can easily sell it quickly to get your money back. IMO, if you bought this and tried to sell it in a few months, you would struggle to get your money back.
  16. There are several VVTI supras for sale just now for a good bit less than 8k. Supra N/A's car was a much better buy IMO.
  17. Never mind that, where do you put the roof? Not much point in getting an aero then adding a huge sub, making the taking of the roof off everywhere except from your house a no go. Also I'm not sold on a couple of things: The blue lights.... everywhere, especially the strips in the engine bay. Not my taste, but if you like them that's all that matters. The serrated aluminium sitting against the compressed air pipe work, this definitely needs looked at as it will cut through that pipe in no time at all. Maybe you could cut some thin tubing length ways and cover the aluminium cut outs.
  18. This has been a really good day for the last two years. Last year the final standings weren't decided until the last two runs of the day, that's how close it was. It really was a good day out with plenty of excellent cars on show and on track. There is also free drag racing during the day up the main straight when the drifting isn't on. There is a good chance I'll make this but I won't have a supra. Also, there tends to be a stronger contingent of "ladies" when Mr Lynch in is attendance.
  19. Just upload the pictures to the forum using the insert image button. Simple. No need to pay for apps or set up a photobucket account. Quite why you guys do it the hard way is beyond me.
  20. Fifteen grant for a N/A-T! He'll need more than luck to shift that it at that price!
  21. Congratulations. Well...What do you do and where do you work? I assume everyone who voted is now due a cut?
  22. This one looks like a really good buy. Couldn't find a cheap BPU OEM example.
  23. http://www.gumtree.com/p/cars-vans-motorbikes/red-toyota-supra-30-twin-turbo-1994-auto/108355712 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/TOYOTA-SUPRA-TWIN-TURBO-1994-AUTO-/251146164068?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item3a797a5764 Are they these two by any chance?
