  1. That's one of my old cars. Honestly, its pretty rusty underneath and has rust coming through on the rear arches. Here's what it looked like a year ago when I sold it:http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?276829-1994-Supra-SZ-5-speed-%A31800ovno&highlight=manual If you want any more details, just send me a PM or post on here.
  2. Soon to be for sale as a "mint" UK 6 speed for probably north of £10-12k if certain people get ahold of it. Realistically, if you are wanting to put it back on the road, I'd offer £1500 and go from there as it clearly needs a lot of work. I personally wouldn't pay more than 4k for it, just not worth it even to break it with the time that involves.
  3. The car is obviously for sale online somewhere and the traders periodically check the usual sites including on here, so it honestly makes no difference. You would only "miss out on a deal" as you put it if you cannot get to a car or pay for it first. If a car's a real bargain a trader will just pay for it with a bank transfer immediately and nobody will get to even get a chance to view it. Regardless, I was only offering to have a look and see if I recognised the car. There have been five supras through my family and I know four of them are still in the Aberdeen area.
  4. Think you'll find there's no "gunk" at the bottom of the tank, certainly not in this day and age. Even what are now 20 year old fuel pump filters come out clean if a little stained. Tony have you taken the fuel pump out and checked it's definitely an uprated pump? Would be worth doing just for peace of mind and to check the connections and soldering. Also it's worth noting that for some reason the Walbro fuel pump comes with a smaller filter bag which means it is probably more susceptible to the fuel moving about, as the pick up area once they fuel is low will be smaller. I've always reused the OEM filter with the 4 or 5 that I've fitted.
  5. Stick up a link to the car if you have one, there's a chance someone up here will know it. Admittedly there are plenty of supras up here that aren't members as far as I know, but it's worth a try.
  6. I'd go for a dark colour all over as it hides the brake dust best and means you dont have to clean them all the time. Shiney wheels are nice it's just the upkeep that is annoying, I've even had chrome wheels before and they were a pain to keep clean. Don't get white unless it matches your baseball cap and Adidas three stripes.
  7. Yup, there is some handy diagrams in this thread that show exactly where to wire everything and the colour of the wires. http://mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?269719-Thor-VFCC-FCD&highlight=vfcc
  8. Strange to just have a stainless hard pipe like that on an OEM SMIC. I realise hard pipe kits like this were(are?) available. Might be worth contacting Keron on here for an OEM plastic pipe with a lip at each end that would replace that stainless one. The cracks you mention certainly won't be helping as it gives obvious flexibility at the pipe end where you don't want it.
  9. Bin it and put up a wanted thread for a TRL VFCC. Strange, as I don't think I've heard of a faulty one before. There's not much to go wrong with them.
  10. Try starting again and using this: http://www.mkiv.com/techarticles/fcd/fcd.htm The key line to note is "The location of the correct ECU wires is found by position and not color."
  11. Have you read that whole thread? And in particular my reply and link? Not saying it's wrong but the next owner of that car had to re-wire the HKS FCD.
  12. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?294192-17-quot-Mickey-Thomson-ET-Streets-on-Volk-Wheels-(I-Think)&highlight=drag Just need to rattle can them a different colour. Would be the perfect pair to start with, saves you shelling out loads for wheels and tyres that will only be used a few times a year.
  13. Ah there you go from thinking there was only one supra on tein coilovers up here, too being three. Well, best get some pictures up. Also how do you find it compared to the S13? Suppose it depends on what state of tune your S13 was in. Supras probably a lot less rusty I'm guessing.
  14. Nice one, very handy app for anyone with a supra. Well done for putting it together. Works perfectly on my HTC One for reference.
  15. I'm guessing it's not for sale now as the OP has bought it from Don (aka Neil) last night and the advert hasn't been removed yet. I'm sure either the OP or Neil will be along soon and confirm/correct what I've said.
  16. DonDavidsons name is Neil. Plus it's the only supra I can think of in Aberdeen that has Tein coilovers.
  17. If I had to guess, I would say it'll be RobD/DonDavidson's old car, the red N/A?
  18. Or follow this handy guide and upload them to the forum. That way they will always remain visible to members. Rather than wait for the inevitable day when your link stops working due to high views, rearranging of folders or account timing out. So come on then, where are the pictures.
  19. Exactly, and if they have it up for £4250, you can bet they paid less than half that for it. Still not the biggest rise I've seen recently, that would be a orange one at everyone's favorite dealer.
  20. IMO, Realistically if you get £6k for it with the R154 I'd snap their hand off. But even then I would think you are in for a long wait. With regard to breaking it, I think it would take a long time to get near the money you are asking. It would be a different story if the car had a 6 speed and a 2JZ-GTE much like IDO is selling. As these "big ticket" items would bring in the majority of the money straight away, circa 5-6k on their own. But a R154, W58 & 2JZ-GE altogether I'd recon would fetch about £2000-2500. Then you would have your turbo kit and everything else but I honestly don't think it wouldn't net you anywhere near the extra 5k that you are after. As essentially all you are left with is a modified N/A rolling shell and a turbo kit. Just trying to put a bit of perspective on it, as although we spend fortunes on these cars, you are only likely to see a fraction returned when it comes to selling them.
  21. Hope you are starting with a very clean example then, you'll need a lot of polish to keep up with these boys.
  22. Aye, that's a peach. Love the plans as well, active spoiler will finish the front off nicely. I'd do BPU mods and add set of OEM recaros, then just enjoy it it. Nice mileage as well.
  23. Welcome Bradley. Don't suppose you have a link to your BMW project build? Am I correct in thinking you have a 1M as well? They are lovely cars.
  24. And the drift demos, moto-x guys, motorbike stunt teams, Terry Grant stunt show burning through tyres for fun, monster trucks pulling cars apart, a decent show brochure or magazine, free bottle of auto glym polish for everyone and if you go back to the days it was called the fast and modified show: giving away a modified car at the end of the day.
