  1. I bought these wheels back in the day and always thought they were split rims. Now I’m trying to get them refurbed and it’s suggested they are one piece only??!! Can anyone remember ??
  2. What happened I thought I reserved one of them?
  3. Here’s my spec from many many years Ago: Engine Specifications: VVTI Running @ 1.3 bar Turbocharger & Induction: Stage 3 Hybrids HKS Induction HKS FMIC Fuel, Tuning & ECU: 550 injectors Apexi SAFC Blitz Boost Controller Exhaust: Full Decat Nur Spec Drivetrain: Tiptronic Automatic Racelogic Traction Control Weight Reduction & Transfer: N/A Suspension, Wheels, Tires & Brakes: Racing Hart 19" wheels UK Front Brakes UK Rear Brakes
  4. Jps in Milton Keynes. We are going back many years tho!!! I’ve never heard of a vvti needing a restrictor ring.....I don’t have one it never goes over 1.2 bar. Was talked about many times years ago. My boost controller isn’t working at mo and mine sits at 1.2. Need to get that looked at.
  5. I went down this route years ago a full BPU vvti running 1.2 was a very quick day to day car. I then fitted hybrids and 550 injectors @ 1.3. I’m not convinced it was worth the cost!! Also the hybrids failed within a few thousand miles. I’d go single or just go full BPU.
  6. Cheers kyb was always quality but I had not seen them in uk? I’d not be adverse to those either
  7. Would certainly like some feedback on this setup!
  8. So how is the ride height with the bilstein and stock springs? One other old thread said their car was much higher on this set up?!
  9. So I know there’s a few old posts on suspension options (and I’ve searched a lot!) but I’m still interested in feedback on current options? And obviously some of you have been running the upgrades long term now so opinions may have changed? I have a 98 TT bpu that I’ve owned for 17/18 years (it slept for 10 or so but is now road legal). Currently it has stock suspension that seems soft and wallows. I’m only doing about 1000 miles a year but would like to renew the suspension. Options in my price range: Tein basis £356 (do current model Tein still have a bad rep?) Tein street advance £410 HSD dualtech £645 BC BR £692 Bilstein German (can I run with stock springs?) £600 ish plus springs if required? Koni with stock springs? Any info appreciated

    Headlight Rings

Agreed must still be a demand for these ??
  12. Seems a bargain for someone - - - Updated - - - Seems a bargain for someone
  13. Agreed have seen them make 400 all day long with those mods. I don’t think the vvti need to use a restriction ring.
  14. Ok cheers will take a look there
  15. Hi Car been sat for ages and want to clean the engine bay. Recommendations for anything to clean the alloy parts under there ? Available locally would help as bonnet is up right now !!! I’ve gunk’d the painted metalwork but any other recommendations for products welcome !!
  16. Great thread I too have a 98 vvti that’s been sitting for 8 years. So far I’ve: Fired it up! Changed oil n filter (will repeat after a few more miles) MOT’d it Found my new UK rear callipers that were in garage for 10 years Ordered discs n pads (F&R) will finally upgrade rears. Ordered air filter Ordered cam belt We are on the same journey!!!!
  17. My Supra 1998 was sorn for nearly ten years so I’m missing many MOT’s too. It does happen.
  18. Found one - cheers - - - Updated - - - Only found a drivers one - sorry
  19. Trying to put my supra back on the road and Sadly someone has torn the wing mirror off it. Anyone got anything ? Thanks
  20. Like I said maybe 'bulge' was too strong a word. When you looked close at the bonnet there was a mark above the turbos that any body shop would no doubt lose when it sprayed it. I just wanted to be honest.
  21. Thanks for all the numerous PMs. H7ERO bought the bonnet and a TRD spoiler n bomex lip I had. Great guy to deal with.
