    Number plates

I'll be in a similar position soon as I am getting a different bumper but getting plate not a problem - its the bracket for a smaller plate, does this company do the brackets too as I can't find a link anyone know of anywhere else if not? (sorry, not meant to hijack thread but thought it would be relevant ) thanks y'all

    fed up

We expect a lot from our supra's but tend to forget that a lot of them are more than 10 years old. My NA is 1 93, nearly 14 years old! but how many other makes/models of that age could you boot along a motorway at 120mph + and know nothing will fall off or go bang?? btw, when was it last serviced? You could take it to a specialist jap garage, get a full health check work out exactly whats wrong with it, go through the list and work out if it is worth the hassle/cost. If not, sell it on, get another supra that is sound, not been played with too much. It seems you have taken this one as far as it will go and perhaps its time to spice things up with a new project ?? Whatever you do, PLEEEESE stay with Supra's you know how awesome and fun they can be. Hope you make the right decision, whatever you do. Linda X
  6. Cheers hun I took it easy so I didn't leave you behind!! see you soon lol x
  7. Excellent! unbeatable forum for info and entertainment btw, hows the supra progressing? Any up to date pics?
  8. Now I'm in considerable debt though so no new parts in the coming months, just getting my car sorted by Turbofit for the Dragonball! Bloody holiday to pay for too. And my rents gone up! Greg Its no good m8, you'll have to sell the girlfriend lol Looks mint
  9. At the end of the day, a tax is a tax and there is never a 'fair' way of implementing it. Those that can least afford to pay up are the ones that will get hit hardest whilst the ones that can afford to pay, it will not impact on them one jot Will it make us get out of our supra's and walk? I think not!! Besides, public transport is totally cr@p, always has been and gets worse not better. With decent alternatives we would at least have options.
  10. Turbonout, great to meet you too. Nice to see a female amongst the gallons of testosterone flying around yesterday! Me included. Hi Greg Was good to meet you too, though briefly Let me know if there's any local 'mini meets' going on, be good to say howdy to some more people. see you soon

    joke

Apt for a sunday... A burglar broke into a house one night. He shined his flashlight around, looking for valuables and when he picked up a CD player to place in his sack, a strange, disembodied voice echoed from the dark saying, "Jesus is watching you." He nearly jumped out of his skin, clicked his flashlight off, and froze. When he heard nothing more after a bit, he shook his head and continued. Just as he pulled the stereo out so he could disconnect the wires, clear as a bell he heard, "Jesus is watching you." Freaked out, he shined his light around frantically, looking for the source of the voice. Finally, in the corner of the room, his flashlight beam came to rest on a parrot. Did you say that?" he hissed at the parrot "Yep," the parrot confessed, then squawked, "I'm just trying to warn you." The burglar relaxed. "Warn me, huh? Who in the world are you?" "Moses," replied the bird. "Moses?" the burglar laughed "What kind of people would name a bird Moses?" "The kind of people that would name a Rottweiler Jesus."

  20. Thanks Col n Rob. I'll probably go for KR in the end as they are the bees knees, but no harm in checking the competition
  21. I know guys, they've done some spanking jobs and that was the original plan but it would be easier to find somewhere nearer. Getting back afterwards and the return journey to pick it up means more hassle, and time off work that I need for my course... though I'm wary of who is trustworthy, you know how it is!
  22. Hi y'all Need some paintwork doing which will involve a few days work, so need somewhere close so I can get back to base without too much trouble. I found Auto body Tec: http://www.autobodytec.co.uk based in Nottingham. Anyone any experience in using them? cheers Linda
  23. I actually carry a couple of blocks of wood in the car just in case recent experience....
