  1. Well said Keith! but hovis should be optional besides I'm a Warburton's lass Lx
  2. I agree with the gist of what your saying but it still cheeses me off. I've personally had to fight agains mens misconceptions about myself over the years due to my erm... attributes - being judged by my bod not my brains Particularly when some blokes talk to my chest not my face So girls pinning up pics of themselves rather than/other than/ instead of/ their supra's in order to make an impact make me shake my head in despair... I luv this forum for its variety of folk, the good natured banter and have had loads of laughs and interesting times as its an excellent forum for discussion on life generally, not just our supra's and support when things go wrong is unparalleld on other sites I love you all, even the naughty ones Now if anyone wants to PM me some chocolate I will sweeten up and say nice things...and climb off my soap box...and, erm, shut up.... maybe lol Lxx

Have you thought of keeping the standard front bumper but maybe adding a lip? There are several ones out there so you can add a different but subtle look? Maybe even blend it in? Hope your happy with whatever you go with, I've spent 2 months prevaricating over what bumper to replace my veilside with...still none the wiser!! Linda x
  5. So, I'll test that theory on you at JAE shall I H??!...
  6. Hi Pete I saw the marvellous job you did on Ash's supra at Thor when they had the dyno day, Jody's too but I wasnt timing you! Just out of curiousity, how long does it take you to do that £55 as it takes most of us lot the best part of an afternoon to really get it spanking cheers Linda
  7. No I havent seen her 'Myspace' pics but then I have no need to look at (what I imagine, going on past postings by such females ) half naked images- this forum is supposed to be about our cars and their ownership, not a forum for, as you so rightly put, right (or left, depending on your preference ) action. Ok, I'm on my soap box but attention seekers really p@ss me off big time and this forum is not the place for that kind of cr@p. Try the top shelf of your local newsagent and lets keep this forum for supra's!!
  8. I find it really sad that new female owners seem to think that exceptance of themselves as supra owners on the forum is primarily about their looks, not their car - and sadder still, not to mention annoying, that you lot just encourage it!!! We had a thread that discussed this a few months ago and the up shot was no more 'Hovis' requests from you naughtier members Konrad (Konio nt) that was plain rude and out of order Daman, you should know better! you should be setting an example not getting the ball rolling linda
  9. THE GOLFING NUN....... A nun walks into Mother Superior's office and plunks down into a chair. She lets out a sigh heavy with frustration. "What troubles you, Sister?" asks the Mother Superior. "I thought this was the day you spent with your family." "It was," sighed the Sister. "And I went to play golf with my brother. We try to play golf as often as we can. You know I was quite a talented golfer before I devoted my life to Christ." "I seem to recall that," the Mother Superior agreed. "So I take it your day of recreation was not relaxing?" "Far from it," snorted the Sister. "In fact, I even took the Lord's name in vain today!" "Goodness, Sister!" gasped the Mother Superior, astonished. "You must tell me all about it!" "Well, we were on the fifth tee...and this hole is a monster, Mother - 540 yard Par 5, with a nasty dogleg left and a hidden green...and I hit the drive of my life. I creamed it. The sweetest swing I ever made. And it's flying straight and true, right along the line I wanted...and it hits a bird in mid-flight not 100 yards off the tee!" "Oh my!" commiserated the Mother. "How unfortunate! But surely that didn't make you blaspheme, Sister!" "No, that wasn't it," admitted Sister "While I was still trying to fathom what had happened, this squirrel runs out of the woods, grabs my ball and runs off down the fairway!" "Oh, that would have made me blaspheme!" sympathized Mother. "But I didn't, Mother Superior!" sobbed the Sister. "And I was so proud of myself! And while I was pondering whether this was a sign from God, this hawk swoops out of the sky and grabs the squirrel and flies off, with my ball still clutched in his paws!" "So that's when you cursed," said the Mother with a knowing smile. "Nope, that wasn't it either," cried the Sister, anguished, "because as the hawk started to fly out of sight, the squirrel started struggling, and the hawk dropped him right there on the green, and the ball popped out of his paws and rolled to about 18 inches from the cup!" Mother Superior sat back in her chair, folded her arms across her chest, fixed the Sister with a baleful stare and said... "You missed the fucking putt, didn't you?"
  10. and You have a gorgeous Supra, looking forward to seeing more pictures. Enjoy your time on the forum, one big, happy - and slightly mad - family! Linda x
  11. Morris dancing trainees??? Friends of yours ed?? lolx
  12. Yup, I should be getting mine this wend from Wayne too. The momo is a sleeve that fits over the existing handle and the gaiter is made to measure, from his supplier. I learnt the hard way that 'Universal fit' is not necessarily a 'one size fits all makes of car' job but the Momo definitely fits, Wayne can give you prices and different options on your gaiter - colour of leather and stitching etc Linda
  13. Hi Phil gorgeous example! Pity I'm not in the market for one Can i suggest you put up some interior pics? cheers Linda x

    Wheel studs

Suggestion: sounds obvious but not everyone does it as we tend to take short cuts but.... Always make sure you use a torque wrench when you tighten the lug nuts - its easier to overtighten than undertighten thinking tighter is better! Helps prevent stretching and stripping the thread. Don't tighten to max manufacturer recomendation - 50nm is usually sufficient and don't go beyond the first click!!!! not necessary!!! L
  15. Try this http://www.btra.co.uk/ lol x
  16. Well, just checked the forecast for tomorrow for the wellingborough area - cloud but no indication of rain, 17 degrees-ish I'll risk it, need a high octane boost!
  17. True, I don't mind waiting

    Bend Over

If you have a v-power card at least you can rack up some points and get a gr8 quality sports bag or clothing out of it - just put 2 quid on one side to buy a toyota badge to stick over the prancing horse
  19. Can you tell me, do you do the brushed stainless 'Supra' logo to match the symbol? As its not shown thx
  20. PARTAY! !!!Happy birthday!!!, bumps for you on Monday lolx Linda
  21. Greg, m8 she's got a face like a horse and a body like a coat hanger, but whatever floats your boat lolx
