  1. To be honest, I've not seen two identical supra's amongst our lot so far. We're all unique I guess, to a smaller or lesser degree Not seen my front bumper on any other supra!
  2. HAPPY BIRTHDAY GREG!! have a good 'un Linda xx
  3. The pre-raphaelite poet Elizabeth Barratt Browning, one of my favourites: If thou must love me, let it be for nought If thou must love me, let it be for nought Except for love's sake only. Do not say "I love her for her smile her look her way Of speaking gently, for a trick of thought That falls in well with mine, and certes brought A sense of ease on such a day" For these things in themselves, Beloved, may Be changed, or change for thee, and love, so wrought, May be unwrought so. Neither love me for Thine own dear pity's wiping my cheek dry, A creature might forget to weep, who bore Thy comfort long, and lose thy love thereby! But love me for love's sake, that evermore Thou may'st love on, through love's eternity. Thomas Hardy wrote some very beautiful although hauntingly sad poetry as well as his novels. I found this book has a super selection for more exploration - Nation's Favourite Love Poems: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Nations-Favourite-Love-Poems-Poetry/dp/056338378X Lxx
  4. It always needs some part/s replaced but as they are never cheap, I have to put up with the problem until finances allow it to be fixed. Its my only car too. Currently need new set of coilovers New fr anti-roll bar links to be fitted at same time as coil overs. New fr brake disks to be fitted. Lacquer lifting and blistering on wheels, need new set as polished lip cant be removed for refurb = not enjoying these last few months at all
  5. I didnt know Toyota built Supra's for drifting Well done though, love watching drifting, never seen a supra going sideways in the metal, only on film. Is your suspension standard? How many tyres did you get through??

    which supra

Do you have a budget? If you can stretch to single turbo money and you can handle 500bhp plus to the rear wheels go for one ready built. From what people have said on here that have gone TT to Single, your looking at £5K for a good build without cutting corners. Going N/A to T will liberate maybe another 100-120bhp from the standard 220bhp N/A so it depends how power hungry you are. Getting the power down in the wet is another issue, with so much power on tap you could find it spinning in 1st, 2nd, 3rd gear so it may not be so usable on a daily basis....horses for courses If your used to FWD cars of about 120bhp then have a few months with an N/A then move up to a tubbie
  9. Did he give precise details of what exactly makes it a 'one-off'?
  10. Serious breakdown in communication..... Get the divorce proceedings started!!
  11. Great News!!! Top Girl. There are so few females in motorsport give her looooaaads of encouragement! Actually, the Autosport show at the NEC in January has a large area dedicated to Karts, she'd lap it up January. Linky:http://www.autosport-international.com/public/ Lx
  12. Its also MPH Show at the NEC that weekend. My beast is most probably going to be getting its suspension etc replaced so it'll be garaged. Doubtful for me unless you make it the last weekend in November 29/30?? Can we get a vote on date please boss??
  13. Cheers hun Xmas wouldnt be Xmas without stuffing and pud!!
  14. I get this at T-junctions at slow speeds with Toyo's and had a full geometry check less than 12 months ago, they told me it was a very well balanced car That little bit of twitchyness makes them fun but it can bite your butt if your not carefull. Just hope no serious injuries or fatalaties occured. I've been a member on here for two years now and every autumn/early winter near misses happen with members, sadly it seems inevitable PLEEEASE Take care people!!!
