  2. Welcome! Lots of fun to be had from your NA though you may thirst for a TT before long They're a great crowd here, lots of shows and meets so keep an eye on the Events threads Linda x

  6. Stef, Rob just remember the good times you've had cus they get you through all the cr@p in between I've had loads of delays and let downs getting the Supe the way I want it, its slow progress but I'm getting there - I'm sure its the same for most of us here. You just have to be persistant and look beyond it because you know how great these cars can and will be, when its all sorted. lolxx
  7. Sorry Greg hun each time you have a problem with your beast my heart hits my boots for you mate, you've persevered brilliantly so far, chin up Any more news on the RAF yet? lolxx
  8. do you ever get one of those days? Get into the car, turn the key, engine burbles into life, you start to smile....blip the fast peddle (sweet music ) your smile turns into a grin.....back off the drive, into first...ROAAAR off down the road and all the way to work shake your head and smile at just how smooth it runs, how that power feeds in subtly at first, then snarls its way up up the gears, flying along smooth straight stretches and sticks to the twisty bits You take the long route to work just to enjoy being so tuned into your beast...and then dont want to get out I can't imagine driving any other car ever again, its awesome lolxx
  9. good idea we've seen one wing, need the bod and head now. How long will it take dya think as there's quite a bit of detail? Does she time it or just keep going til you pass out?? lolx, kiddin hun
  10. I take it you didnt take a close up look of the needles when you were being 'drawn' Yep, the 4mm is usually the outline. Looking forward to the next pic instalment lolx

    Hello! :-)

Hi Mark! to the club! There are some very good guides to the supra on the home page, as for asking questions, ask away You might want to try the Search facility if you have something specific and its covered by a thread or two already. With that budget you should get a well spec'd and looked after TT, have a look at the for sale section too, some nice supe's to drool over! Happy hunting Linda x
  14. Thats awful CJ, I feel for you. I find it puzzling that out of all the people over the years I've asked about why they smoke and if they enjoy it, none have been able to give me a definite reason fow why they smoke, they usualy say 'I don't know really, its just a habit I guess' or 'picked it up from friends'. As for enjoying it, I've not heard anyone say I LOVE smoking, its GREAT! More often I get ' I've tried to give it up before/several times but I can't!' I would never tell anyone to not smoke, we should be free to make our own decisions, I agree entirely on that, but I still can't understand why people smoke in the first place! A bunch of rolled up leaves smoldering in the corner of your mouth... L
  15. Smoking related diseases are placing a huge burden on our struggling health system and diverting money from areas where it is desperately needed. Personally, I wont go out with a guy that smokes - kissing someone who smells and tastes (not that I go around licking ashtrays ) is revolting. Smoking also causes premature aging of the skin and can put years onto a person, not to mention shorten life. I lost my grandfather from a smoking related disease when he was still young. I miss him like mad, he was my favourite grandpa and I know we would have been fantastic friends as we were very close, if he had lived You lot who smoke and have children, think about your kids - would they want you to be taken from them before your time?? I'm trying not to be emotive but think outside of your own needs and think of your family. Linda x
  16. hey hun I was watching 'How its Made' at the weekend and they showed you how the gun and needles were assembled for the tattoo, how deep the needles would go, depending on whether its a line or fill: between 1 and 4mm deep!! Your sooo brave!! lolx
  17. How cool! you can learn to DRIFT now!!!

    Gto V Supe

The ex-man (who wasnt ex at the time but soon to be shortly after ) said he was going to buy an NA GTO, just as I'd got my supra....yawn...(tying to keep up, me thinks ) But still, it was an improvement on the usual american f@rd cr@p he usually bought so I gave him the benefit of the doubt. Until he said he bought it because the rear end of the GTO reminded him of an American muscle car Needless to say I dumped the knob end after that They do have good grip around twisty bits, being all wheel drive, but I reckon I'd have slaughtered him on a straight. but as he was such a knob I wouldnt give him the satisfaction of getting anywhere near my beastie - he couldnt drive in a straight line, even with all wheel drive anyway One things for sure though, the Supra slaughters the GTO on looks lol:D
  20. erm sorry! I probably sound blonde but could you use washers to lift it slightly? (use same number on other end of brace to create equal stability? ) L
