  1. It'll look fantastic when its done nic But then with that big single crouched under the bonnet, I wouldnt be too fussed if it did look like a parcel lol cu at silverstone x
  2. to the forum Thats a tidy example you have there, wheels set it off well, what is the spec?? Linda x
  3. Black standard looking TT turning onto wobaston Rd -from pendeford P***PLX/J ? I was walking home, white top grey trews, carrying a red jacket and gawping at your wheels (not you, sorry!! ) gleaming multi spokes, lovely supra One of our crew??
  4. sorry mate, didnt mean you but the dealership in the link
  5. I have to agree there but only with some junctions. Theres a very busy junction in my city, 3 dual carriageways and two main roads, not to mention some filters. I remember the lights being out one afternoon and it was a nightmare, traffic coming seemingly at me from all directins "theres going to be a serious accident at this rate" I thought. Sure enough, passing through couple of hours later, ambulance, police cars - taxi on its side, another car badly bent On the other hand, a busy island in the city centre regularly has lights out but traffic flows slowly and cautiously and so far no accidents, and no queues! unlike usual! It works in other parts of the world though, a pilot scheme would be good. L
  6. by the way fellah, if your after an Non turbo (as per your first thread) they are all Jspec - they were only made for JDM. The Turbos can be had as either Jspec or Uk spec. by the way, and happy hunting! Linda
  7. ah, bless Sounds old skool - care, consideration and good manners, not to mention respect > its that generation. Did you mean paying only for the damage to his BMW or also the fiesta? If its just the beemer, thats understandable, if its the Fiesta too....oh dear!!
  8. If you need a hand putting the tan on next time.... > Just kidding Well done, more leg work perhaps? I know you guys are shy of working your legs lolx
  9. eugh that humongous bumper probably caught a draft, it unbalanced the car and sent it spinning out btw, probably going off thread here but (sorry, bit of a newbie question ) what visually differentiates the UK and Jspec TT's?? cheers and apologies if I sound blonde
  10. Dont know whether to say 'Well done!' or you saddo >
  11. yeah, we've got to have someone to laugh at rib-and for me
  12. I saw this on the screens at the gym this morning. i didnt hear the commentary but it was sickening enough just to watch it. But then coming from a country that is rapidly killing/blighting people and the environment in its race towards industrialisation, its hardly surprising
  13. Oooohhh!!! he has a DUKE!! can I pop down for a ride, please PLEEEESE! is it a 999? lolxx
  14. Well mate, you know whats caused it, you know you should take some time out and relax - prevention is better than cure!! Im trying to work full time and do a full time course of study and sometimes I just have to put my foot down and say, just for one eveing, I will RELAX!!! if I dont I'll get overtired and ill. Try and pace yourself, get more sleep, avoid sugary foods and caffeine (stimulants) instead of keeping studying really late, take some of your books/papers to work, use your lunch hour and breaks Hope you sort out the ulcers hun, take it easy Linda x
  15. the 5 series as thirsty as the supe, I believe, but found this - small, economical, and quite unique.... http://www.bubblecar.co.uk/photo.htm
  16. Aw man, thats sickening! You'l be busy for the next couple of weeks then Look forward to seeing it run at Silverstone, luck and best wishes Paul L
  17. Hey, top man!! Yeah, stay natural Looking forward to seeing the pic. How was that chocolate cake btw? Lx
  18. I was going to buy a replica DoLuck front bumper until I saw how thin and flimsy it was. I've no idea if it would have fitted as I was too horrified to buy it One tap (or a sneeze) would have cracked the thing. The originals are expensive and if your getting them from America you have to pay freight as well. I was recently quoted $640 for shipping and a further $120 for delivery to the door! This was on top of the $1,050 for the bumper itself The exchange rate is quite good at the moment though. I would imagine the quality is better with the original, or so I would like to think, but would be interested to hear if that is the case. Lx
  19. I feel as gutted at the ship itself. It seems symptomatic of todays youth (who undoubtalbly are the culprits) who are ignorant of, and don't give a damn about, the history that gave Britain its power and wealth and ability to expand its nations. Clipper ships such as the Cutty Sark plied Britains trade around the world and bought us Tea spices, fabric, new foods, precious metals etc We seem to be mostly raising a generation of arrogant, ignorant, selfish attention seeking, ill mannered yobs Where people who DO raise their kids well are scuppered by the said yobs of the people who don't. OK, rant over (but I'm not apologising for it!!) L
  20. are you sure your buying the car for her and not primarily yourself?? What is her current car? Bare in mind that the supra is not only a long vehicle (4.5m long - my previous cars were hatches and its quite a move up in dimensions re: manouvering/clearance and takes some getting used to) but if you want a BPU supra for your wife I am assuming you are aware that a stock TT has over 300bhp and some BPU's supras have around 400bhp and more. Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to be off with you mate but as a woman into performance jap cars, there are not many of us out there i have to admit, and that kind of power can be a lot to handle in the hands of someone without experience of such a beast - even the N/A can get its back end out and snap at the unwary - even those chaps on here with years of ownership of powerful supra's. I love supra's and if she wants one I wish her many happy hours of fun driving they are awesome cars and will always raise a smile, but can I suggest she gets behind the wheel herself to see how SHE feels about it, not just you there are some excellent, well looked after examples for sale here on the forum, happy hunting and to you and your lady Linda xx
  21. ...also toilet rolls and egg boxes..... perleeese!! Hey, maybe he's one of those 'born-again-Max-Power-readers' lol! x
  22. turbonut
