Hi Ian From my initial conversation with him it would only need 10 or 12 people for a group deal. A couple of the most popular after market bumpers are the Do luck and Top Secret and would certainly be worth looking at but this is something I had in mind to discuss with him anyway. I think an initial trial for just the standard would be a good starting point and if everyone is happy with the result we can take it from there. L

Well, if your sigy is any indication, your supra is far from standard - sounds awesome! - so you have nothing to worry about. Besides, as we all realise, a 'standard' supra can become, over time, a unique beast with the right tuning and body modifications. On another upside, more people will be looking for parts and components/kits to upgrade which will hopefully increase competition between suppliers and bring prices down for those of us who want to modify and improve our supras Linda

Thats not what vicky told me when you were distracted by Tom at the weekend lolxx

Hi Folks I've been in touch with a company based in the Midlands that manufacture mesh for top marques such as Bentley, Jaguar and Aston Martin. We need a supplier of quality mesh for our Supra's and the company are very keen to get involved to diversify and become involved with owners clubs. They have recently been taken on board by the Mini OC and have also produced a mesh grille for MX5's. The grilles are custom made to fit and edged, made from high grade stainless. I will be going over to their factory next week Tuesday to have a look at what they do and ask questions. So far I have discussed club discount minimum number of individuals to start a product run (10-15) and estimated time of production - up to three months to develop. As we have a wide range of front bumper types it would be best to start with the standard front bumper. Can one of you chaps therefore let me have dimensions please. On a similar note, the company will do the initial grille for free as a 'model' so I will need a volunteer (as I have veilside but new style about to be fitted) preferably in the west midlands so they can get to walsall for fitting, and one that is happy to 'tart' their car around at shows! I have already approached Mawby and he is fine with this. I will merely act as the 'middleman' to get the ball rolling. http://zunsport.amchost.co.uk/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=1&Itemid=10 this is the parent company: http://www.wwtechnologies.co.uk/automotive-grilles.asp Linda UPDATE: 14th December 07 Mesh comes with FULL fitting instructions, very simple. They also have a technical department who are happy to answer and advise with your queries. They will deal with your order directly, but you MUST mention MKIV supra.net and mention my name to get the discount. Contact details: Peter Langston (MD) or Joanne Melvin (Joanne deals with the orders) 01543 374333. Over to you now! ;-)

I've only ever used VPower in my NA but if it does the things it claims it keeps your engine clean too etc... I had a 1.5 yaris (ok, no jokes ) and it ran smoother, quieter and was that much more responsive when tapping the gas pedal I think its worth putting in 'the best' available fuel in my wee beastie anyway, as it gets the best of everything L

and doughnuts...and muffins...and chocolate....

yep, hammerite has good heat resistant properties too. You can always try engine bay paint, very similar and can withstand being around hot brake pads

Hoff m8, check out the interior shots!!! frightening!

Have a look at this site, its specific for what you are thinking of: http://www.clubna-t.com/forums/ If you only want a TT then you'd probably be better selling up and going that road. But if you would want to convert the twin to get a single turbo anyway, you may be better off with an NA-T. Have a think about how much bhp you ultimately want. The boostlogic kits can give you up to about 380 or 400 bhp I believe? With the TT you could start with around 300+ anyway. I want to go the single turbo route too, but have a good luck at the clubna-t forum. good luck with whatever you decide to do;) L

Eughhh!!! (cue puking smilie) I was going to say it just needs de-stickering until I checked out the cabin pics looks like a very messy murder took place in there As for the chav label, its as much about mentality as the physical appearance. I've seen totally standard corsa's driven by guys that are obviously complete knob ends and would call them chavs. I think the Supra is too sleek a beast to ever be called a chav car, regardless of the occasional monstrosity that crops up. I get viscous looks from male and female, young and old but only sometimes. Most common is long stares, positive comments and people whipping out their phone cams to take pics At least we know quality when we see it Lx

turbo'd MX5 - handles great but styling?? common too 200bhp? Aerotop NA Supra - GORGEOUS, unusual, around 220bhp unmolested?? Unless you want to buy both and give me the aerotop lol Lx
-
I went to see it yesterday, vast in length but disjointed, even sureal in parts and never really jelled with a storyline. Johnny D was ace the visual effects excellent. light hearted and entertaining but not earth shattering. Definitely needs seeing on the big screen as on your lil TV you'd be asleep or off making tea after 1/2 hour!! Lx

Hey simon, yeah, car first, contents later sounded lush, absolutely love those wheels. Is a BPU on the cards then?? Not met you yet but if you want to meet up for a natter it would be great, I've asked Haydn if he's interested too, Linda x
-
Hey m8, how you doing? It could have been Konrad, if it was spoilerless? Theres a chap with a red supe round the corner from me, looks standard, no skirts, C* AUL, not sure if he's a member? Be good to have a catch up and natter soon, if you've time? Bring Jamie with the GT4 as well cheers
-
Hi Tom I'm looking at doing the same as I'm having new skirts but the old ones need some attention You can get fibreglass kits for repairs but how strong the bond will be, I wouldnt know. Its also very messy stuff It may be worth approaching a bodyshop to get an idea of whether or not its worth having them done professionaly - as you can get a new set of skirts for around the £200 mark, it may not be worth it. I'm getting my new skirts hopefully this week and will let you know the fellah's opinion on wether their worth repairing, good luck anyway, Linda x
-
hi Greg It looks lush, shows you've worked hard on bringing it up, looks a treat No doubts you'll have any problems selling it if the price is keen. Still gonna be hard to let go of it I reckon, even with all the problems you've had. good luck with the sale and hope the fellah buys, he'd be mad not to!! lolxx

I have to agree. Although his company will benefit (but then it is Toyota ) he will not personally fill his pockets with any profit. But if Andrew has to go through the proper channels, surely the same should apply to Steve Manley or Paul Wheatly if they are trading on the same 'informal' basis? There should be standardisation, surely? Difficult one, hope it gets remedied to the benefit of both club and Andrew (if some of you who have chewed his but havent put him off ) as another discounted genuine parts dealer, particularly for we jap owners who tend to get stone walled as we're not UK spec , is a bonus? Linda
