Hi Andy I had my bomex skirts from Knight racer. the fitting wasn't too difficult to do but there is a slight protrusion of about 3-4mm where it abutts the door. by pulling it back slightly to the rear wheel it was possible to avoid it rubbing and it didnt make that much difference visually, tbh. As for the sills of the skirts, they do curve up very slightly and there is some mild rubbing about 120mm. Neil at body shop would have shaved some off the bottom of the doors but I needed the car so hes doing it next week for me. Neil said the kit is a good one, including the finish and I've been very impressed. Photos attached, hope they help: drop me a pm if you have any questions, Linda x

I've lalways ooked after all my cars, mostly because garages take the p@ss when they see a woman. In fact, i started a course in vehicle technology and repair last year and love it. I've had it on the ramp, checked it out, done loads of small jobs too numerous to mention and helped fit the body kit....and fit the new facelift indicators, wiring, put in new phillips blue bulbs all round... ....have a huuuuge list of other jobs to do and loving it Basic checks on almost a daily basis, every day its like a voyage of discovery As for the paintwork and interior, spend more on the cars 'toiletries' than mine! Meguires mostly applicator pads, terry towling for a gentle rub absorbant cloths and lambswool mits even been known to get out the cotton buds Your right in the main though but then I know some guys who are appallingly lax and drive round in what I can only describe as mobile dustbins and dont know where the bonnet popper is either I'm a proper petrol head as some of you may realise and spend many a happy hour under the bonnet/skirts/bumper with my tool kit getting down and dirty he he! Lolxx

Hi Ady I got some rust remover from halfrauds and spent several hours (needs several layers of the stuff built up) de-rusting the hubs You can put hammerite straight on to rust but taking off the worst of it leaves a smoother surface to prime and the paint keys onto the primer well - I used black engine bay paint, more subtle than silver but its down to taste. word of warning on the rust remover: its gloopy green and a bummer to get off the alloys if it drys on so if you cant ramp it and take off all the wheels (2 hours of repeated 1/2 hourly dosing means you'd be whipping wheels on and off til you were dizzy) wrap cling film around the spokes and a layer of plastic on the bottom of the rim to catch drips.....or stuff it and just slap on the hammerite depends how picky you are Linda xx

This one is worth it for the punch line...... A man was sick and tired of going to work every day while his wife stayed at home. He wanted her to see what he went through so he prayed: "Dear Lord: I go to work every day and put in 8 hours while my wife merely stays at home. I want her to know what I go through, so please allow her body to switch with mine for a day. Amen." God, in his infinite wisdom, granted the man's wish. The next morning, sure enough, the man awoke as a woman. He arose, cooked breakfast for his mate, awakened the kids, set out their school clothes, fed them breakfast, packed their lunches, drove them to school, came home and picked up the dry cleaning, took it to the cleaners and stopped at the bank to make a deposit, went grocery shopping, then drove home to put away the groceries, paid the bills and balanced the check book. He cleaned the cat's litter box and bathed the dog. Then it was already 1P.M. and he hurried to make the beds, do the laundry, vacuum, dust, and sweep and mop the kitchen floor. Ran to the school to pick up the kids and got into an argument with them on the way home. Set out milk and cookies and got the kids organized to do their homework, then set up the ironing board and watched TV while he did the ironing. At 4:30 he began peeling potatoes and washing vegetables for salad, breaded the pork chops and snapped fresh beans for supper. After supper, he cleaned the kitchen, ran the dishwasher, folded laundry, bathed the kids, and put them to bed. At 9 P.M. he was exhausted and, though his daily chores weren't finished, he went to bed where he was expected to make love, which he managed to get through without complaint. The next morning, he awoke and immediately knelt by the bed and said: - "Lord, I don't know what I was thinking. I was so wrong to envy my wife's being able to stay home all day. Please, oh! oh! Please, let us trade back." The Lord, in his infinite wisdom, replied: "My son, I feel you have learned your lesson and I will be happy to change things back to the way they were. You'll just have to wait nine months, though. You got pregnant last night."

Yeah, its the right shade but as the supe's 14 years old now, there's a difference in the paint, more noticeable on bonnet - I may need to get it resprayed which will get rid of th stone chips too. As for the bumper, didnt want to follow the crowd but its growing on me, looks better in the metal L
