  1. You can get the LED's from Maplin's, very cheap
  2. Hi going off topic here (sorry ) but really like your wheels, are they ultralite's??
  3. ooh yum what are they please? ta
  4. That stinks!! Don't let it go. Can you not get CCTV footage off the car park company yourself? They may have recoreded over it by now so you'd have to shift quick. Really gutted for you, looks like they were driving a tank with that 'tap'!!! Lx
  5. A single turbo conversion from an N/A will get you up to 380ish bhp if your lucky, or 350ish bottom line. But it could cost you £5K+ as the kit's aren't exhaustive and you will need additional parts. That includes fitting by a qualified garage by the way. You may be able to get a TT lump for £2K but then there's all the other items you'd need to think of - possible upgrades include fuel pump, clutch, gear box, brakes, FCD, etc etc etc. If your tight on budget skimping could get you into trouble. Just buy a TT and have done! Current Supra purchase prices only give you a difference of (from £3Kish) between TT/NA anyhow. L
  6. Hey!! ya crafty thing, you never told me at the weekend Ash!! Missed a birthday smackaroonie HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! LXXX
  7. So, you've not had the displeasure of driving around the seemingly bomb damaged pitted patchwork of roads of Wolverhampton the only way I'd miss them is by teaching the car to levitate Saves being spectacularly squashed when I have to stray into the oncoming traffic to avoid a hole ....or part ex the supe for a tank Never be short of a parking space then either
  8. This has been going on for the last twelve hours, more than a hundred killed and still going on at more than 7 buildings in India, its turning into another 911 http://news.bbc.co.uk/#top
  9. Well, the new coilovers arrived with Ash today, will take up the rest of the parts for him to fit so hopefully should be all go by Saturday evening Probably sounds pathetic but its like having a constantly poorly child on your hands, you just worry and feel down about it, and wonder whats going to happen next...... I still have to use the supra occasionaly but each time it goes over a bump or pot hole I wince. My cracked spine and loose fillings are looking forward to the relief of new suspension Ok, get a grip.... Can't even be bothered to wash it at the 'mo Mind you, it is about -2 C by the time I get home from work
  10. Can only make it if fitting work goes to plan this weekend with no unexpected problems, otherwise won't make it, fingers crossed
  11. I just need to find me a millionaire, grease the stairs and hey presto!!!
  12. No, are you?? Thanks for the comments peeps, still cheesed off today but taking it on the chin, so to speak. Others have suffered far worse with their cars but it really is the drip, drip, drip of money that affects your lifestyle. I lost my job in June and the new one's made me take a pay cut of £4K, closer to £5K with the bonuses so money's a bit tight, as it is for most people at the mo With them money I spent on the Supe I could have gone to Egypt on a luxury cruise at least 8 times by now
  13. Well, the supra's turned into a bottomless money bucket this year, latest bill big and getting bigger Seem to be spending endlessly over the last 12 months. I know their old cars now but........ Even found myself thinking the unthinkable last night, sell!! Sorry, having a winge Must be others thinking along the same lines One very miserable turbonut x
  14. OEM or to suit Tein SS, used are fine if in decent condition. cheers Linda
  15. Hi I'm in Wolverhampton. To be honest, trustworthy jap specialist garages are few and far between but Weston Performance in Shirley are excellent although a little expensive. for general servicing, repairs etc I take it to MIJ in Walsall, they specialise in Skylines but their mechanics have had Supra and other jap and prestige experience too and they are super speedy and won't rip you off. Easy to get to off the M6 as well. Drop me a PM if you need contact details/names for either of these two. body shops....hmm....I know a cracking bloke in Leicester, thats about it I'm afraid I can tell you which ones to avoid though Linda
  16. The EDFC unit would be excellent but at another £275, plus more for fitting I really can't afford it at the mo as the wheels are such a mess (dodgy weather ) they urgently need replacing so thats the next one on the list for the hard earned cash
  17. Its not about keeping up as I have *cough* an N/A:sly: its more about the way it handles and adjustability for comfort, as I quite like it firm
  18. Howdy and welcome!! Nice supra, even though it has a naked bum I'm a part-time Leicestershire person so you may see me tootling around in my supra at weekends. Linda x
  19. cheers Adam. Thanks too Jamie. I also wondered if I needed to replace the top/bottom mounts and if so OEM (if they'd fit??) or extra lucre for the Tein pillowball mounts suggestions??
  20. I like that one Keep us posted Rob
  21. I have GT Force coilovers but one has leaked and so they need replacing. As they've been on for 4 years already and obviously struggle with our cr*p roads, would the Tein Super Streets be more hard wearing or can anyone suggest a better alternative. Will be replacing with a full set by the way. cheers chaps Linda x
  22. Could it not be something simple like a worn pulley? makes a light tapping sound.... They'll find out anyway, fingers crossed its nothing expensive
