  1. You need to check land ownership other wise you may have some crazed farmer taking pot shots at you and your supe for trespassing L
  2. thankfully not But then wot would the male equivalent of flashing big boobs be ??! L
  3. Hi Ash I'm hopefully going but will make my own way up the A38 and meet you guys there Lx
  4. Convoy would be cool GNemie (jamie) and Hoff (Adam) are coming from Shresbury way, I met them off A5 before heading for toll & M6 for japshow last weekend, could do same for JAE?? Or maybe meet Corley svcs on A6? I posted on the JAE 3 weeks to go thread to see if there would be a convoy from Leicester as they would drop down onto A14.... Cuban Exchange Saturday pm: sounds good to me will txt you Ady - Simon PM'd you mate Lx
  5. she's obviously not eaten since they last performed together....
  6. tbh, its all been said. The NA came out of the factory with around 220bhp as standard. Time will whittle this down to around 200bhp. About the only usefull mods you can do to liberate a few more ponies is to fit a full after market exhaust system, remove both cats, and.....erm, thats about it. Mr T's stock air induction system is better than most aftermarket kits - fitting a different one can actually restrict the air flow;) You can throw silly money at an NA but the most you'll get out is another 20 or 30bhp. Better you keep that money and buy a stock TT. You'll be looking at around 320bhp and can BPU it for a grand or so L
  7. mmmm! nice one! defo one for the ever growing wish list Lx
  8. Well, my beastie had a veilside front bumper, skirts and spats with a standard rear spoiler and although it suited the car, its quite a 'strong' look and I think you need very good bodywork and wheels to carry it off successfully. And, IMO it is dated now. Bearing that in mind, the skirts are timeless and compliment most types of aftermarket front bumpers. But then there is the issue of clearance The VS extends the front of the supra quite a lot and that overhang can take some getting used to on a car that is already around 4.5 meters long, especially if your going from a stock front bumper. It is also deep and if your supra is lowered....beware!! The VS does NOT like speed bumps, ramps or inclines! As they say, 'Variety is the spice of life' Linda x
  9. mate, beware of those single layered 'leisure' tents, cheap they certainly are but they let the water in if theres any more than a light shower aand are bl@@dy freezing. The weather at this rate might not be in our favour. Check out millets or blacks Lx
  10. Hey Adam good to meet you on way to jap show, if you could leave the rain behind this time though ...... Any idea what time your going? I could hook up with you and Jamie as before if it suits There might even be a convoy from Leicester about the same time, perhaps? The more the merrier, eh L x
  11. Sorry to hear that, glad your ok though. Easier to fix the supra than you Hope you don't get traumatised every time you see cottage pie from now on! Have a look on the for sale section here on the forum, usually a variety of bumpers going for a realistic price. I had mine new from Knight racer, quality good, fit quite good too and well priced. Not sure about an under tray as they don't always come with the front bumper. good luck with it all, chin up, could have been a lot worse! Linda x
  12. DRIFT!!! magic word! I'm going for sure though its prbably a bit late for a stand. not sure who covers that area on the forum for arranging a club stand. Thanks for the heads up will book tonight Linda x
  13. A gold locket with a picture of you or both of you in it....or a professional portrait of of herself/or both of you? if she enjoys travelling, some really good quality luggage, maybe monogrammed? How about a driving experience? try: everymanracing.co.uk 01455 841 670 they start from £99 the mini experience is awesome good fun, or karting? some jewellery + pampering treatment/full professional makeup? (she's a pretty girl but it would be a lovely treat) A cosy weekend for the two of you away? lots of offers available on short breaks, you often get one night free if you book two If she likes any sport/band get tickets and make a short break of it? As long as you show a little initiative she'l be happy. tbh hun you cant go wrong with jewellery. She can wear it as a reminder of you....and if she dumps you she can pawn it lol!! Linda x
  14. Hi Mark Are you still going for blue?? the beast is sorted pretty much apart from where some ignorant b'stard broke the near side wing mirror I was only without mine for 5 1/2 days but getting in it and driving it home was a super feeling, had missed it loads so can understand your excitement Enjoy hun! Linda x
  15. Hey Simon Ady Simon mate, can't believe your getting rid of those rims!! rather tasty they are, if only I had some pennies I would take them off your hands So when you two up for a bevy? How about we take over the parking behind cuban exchange with supraness??? Weather looking shite for the forseable future so a nice warm/dry pub/bar would be a tempting prospect for a beer low fat coke or two or we can head over to your neck of the woods Simon?? Lxx
  16. Interesting (and timely for me) post. My NA is sitting on: Front - 225/40R18 - 8 Rear - 255/35/R18 - 8 Although it handles well with no oversteer, the rears need to sit further out to fill the arches better, probably by another 10mm. If I had the dosh, 19" would definitely look better, with more offset. Weather or not you feel your choice affects your handling only you will be able to tell. Hope it works out well, you seem to have made your decision anyway L x
  17. Hey Vicky, it'll look mint when its done as its looking lush now but, 7 MONTHS?!!! Can I ask why get it resprayed at substantial cost (Candy doesnt come cheap!) with the intention to sell it or was it sitting in the paint shop waiting for you to make a decision?? Just curious Pleeeese don't get rid of it! Find a way ANY way to keep it! Besides, you'd be deserting we few female supe owners Saturday job sounds a possibility. It'll be tiring to add to a full time job but just think of why your doing it Wish I could think of some alternative money maker but sadly not Chin up though girl, where there's a will there's a way...sell all your new furniture on ebay and buy second hand hey, how about renting a room out in your new house?? Good luck Linda xx
  18. a 'Big Up' to the forum me thinks so, we're useful for some things Sounds like a very good deal mate, well done! Good news that some franchised Toyota dealers aren't shy of working on our Supras. Here's to many more happy years of supra ownership for you hun Linda x
  19. via halfrauds.....:D questionable fit
  20. sadly true! But then, in my eyes - and probably the rest of us supra lovers - the supra has such a unique, sleek look that it would still attract a lot of admiring stares! I've lost track of the number of times I've caught mine being snapped Linda xx
  21. authentic Abflug are not cheap but worth spending out if you want the look, rather take a risk on replica. Have you tried Nic, Import Pimp?? If you really like them I say go for it, be different!
  22. Hey Luke Ed's correct, usually meet 2nd sunday in the month I think although I'm sure someone will be along shortly to correct me if not location linky here: http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=95724&highlight=bubble+inn I've not been yet either as it always clashes with other things, hope to make this one too You going Ed or glueing yourself to the box??? lolx Linda
  23. ooooh! posh! will you be mixing with us rif raff then hun?? Lxx
