  1. Hi Ray wots your route btw? some of us (about 4 or 5 i think) are heading onto the M6/A14 Friday morning, could always meet you lot at corley services?? cheers
  2. It sounds a beast claire I wont say traitor oops! just did! I'm sure you'll have miles of smiles in it, good luck and happy motoring don't forget to pop in and say hi, keep these lads on their toes Linda x
  3. Hi fellah they're just teasing but there's truth behind their cheek. this subject comes up quite regularly and there are numerous threads around, but it really depends on a lot of factors - whether your notching up mostly A road miles, or motorway or town/city driving or a combination, how heavy you are on the gas pedal and which supra i.e.: standard TT (not that there are many of those around ) BPU, Hybrid tubbies, single tubby, N/A etc. An NA will give you the most miles but that in itself can vary between around 280 for heavy foot/heavy traffic to around 360 for mostly long haul. Overall though fellah, if your concerned about petrol consumption, bear in mind they are all 3 litre engines and therefore thirsty beasts!!! Be prepared to dig deep for fuel but the rewards are AWESOME!!! happy hunting, don't let this cheeky lot get to you, its standard on the forum so you'll have to harden yourself All good natured stuff lolx Linda
  4. Hi Hun sorry your having such rotten luck selling your supe, its a beaut too chin up, I reckon its just holding back waiting to meet Mr Right (owner) lol Lxx
  5. and chris so, your coming over from the dark side as you've seen the light? try this linky too: http://mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=59334 there's a search button on the menu bar of the main page so you can do a specific search. lots of tech FAQ's too Actually we have a fantastic forum here Entertaining, funny and informative, you'll never get bored Happy searching lolx Linda
  6. Hi Tony Seems your looking at both bumpers being resprayed and the fuel flap. Seems about right. I've just had a new front bumper and skirts, cost the same with an excellent paint job and fitting. I'm afraid I don't know any paint shops in your neck of the woods but you could maybe post a thread asking for recommendations? Its always difficult finding someone you can trust to do a good job but it wouldnt hurt to get another quote good luck Linda x
  7. I didnt, unfortunately, get to meet Rik although I saw his supra at Pod recently, stood out from the crowd and made a huge contribution to the forum here. Heartbreaking for his family, deepest condolences to viki and the boys, love and best wishes for a peaceful rest. Linda xx contribution sent

Hi Pete If your used to a bike, you'll be wanting a bit of grunt I have an N/A and luv it but would ideally have had a TT except milage and initial cost ruled it out A TT would be your best bet. Then theres the single turbo conversions.... I've been passenger in Maz's (MK47) supe and its got some serious speed, sounds lush and being a BPU'd TT, you'd climb out grinning from ear to ear after, guaranteed!! Hope you get the Supra your looking for mate, lots of well looked after examples on our for sale section, lots of advice here too, have a browse Linda x
  9. Looks like the oil wrestling match is on then?? lolx
  10. I bet CJ's not having that problem, maybe we should get him to organise a meet at his end
  11. Check the start of the thread but it will take between 2 and 3 months to develop the prototype. He did say that they would be constructed so that they would be easy to fit by the end purchaser - us I 'm trying to source a bumper for them to make a start on and will continue to update the thread, as I think it is certainly a product worth waiting for. Linda x
  12. Well, at the end of the day most of us are so totally sold on the shape of our MKIV Supra, nothing that comes after it will ever be as satisfying/appealing (choose you're [for Michael ]adjective/s) so they should all just give up now, go home and stop trying to do the impossible - reinvent an already beautiful and classic car my 2p worth L
  13. Have to agree super stuff that plastx Lx

  15. I'm really liking the way the lines from the skirts and front over fenders flow into the bumper, neat lines and unusual. Tidy I wouldnt say no to it Lx
