  1. oooooh Italian!!! yes yes .....maybe there's dishy Italian waiters to improve the scenery
  2. Not to run, no. They have components that wear out and need replacing just as much as on TT's, new suspension is as much for an N/A as a TT, new wheels, new tyres. Thats why a lot of newbies sell up within a few months of buying, they don't realise how much older models (although cheap to buy initially) cost to run. I don't think there are many 19 year olds on a good enough salary to pay for supra's, beer AND drugs
  3. Hey dude Just noticed your in Northants'. Ashbph set me up with some great new Tein Super streets (coilovers). He's in north Leicester - not that far for you - has his own garage now, and I'm sure he'd be happy to have a look at your supra, in the metal so to speak, and give you some first hand advice Perhaps just replacing the springs would be enough without shelling out lotsa dosh. Drop him a PM Lx
  4. Anything decided on time and place for meeting up?? Booking in time for the hotel is 3pm
  5. :rlol: OMG!! this is the most hilarious thread all year Pleeeeease get him to join the forum, so we can shred him I don't suppose his present car is a 'chipped' 350 bhp Saxo??
  6. Hi Heather TRD is a very popular choice for a lot of people and really suits the Supra. Nic (Import Pim) although based out east can source you one with a carbon blade or any combination, may be worth dropping him a PM? Going for a standard spoiler would be ok too but with Veilside skirts and front you can get away with a more stylish look go for it Linda x
  7. It depends what your expecting. You can get a wadge off driving experiences and all different formula of motorsport are catered for. I'm into stock cars and love to see them tearing around the oval in the show
  8. My 93 manual has it but if the Guide on our forum is right it was an option until the '96. Very useful too
  9. Yay!!! I like it thanks Mods xx
  10. I've always wondered why Veilside made such a horrendously out of proportion rear spoiler which also has absolutely nothing in common with the styling lines of the supra. You asked whatever floats your boat (although with the weight of that thing on the back it would more likely sink ) Enjoy
  11. I go along with H and IDO. I've spent a bundle on my N/A and would rather stick with it and swap the N/A block for a TT rather than start from afresh with a TT I would almost certainly want to modify inside and out anyway good luck to all you guys going NA-TT, I'm soooo jealous
  12. what a b*mmer, as has been said legging it from the scene of an accident is an offence. Any surveilance camera's in the vicininty you can get at for film?
  13. Tom does most of our photography at the big shows but a good photographer at local meets would be good, (even though most people turn up in their diesel runarounds ) and excellent experience for your friend who's studying Where's he studying btw? ....wrong time of year for meets though as most people's supra's are tucked up in nice warm garages, apart from us poor people who can only afford to run one car Linda x
  14. ??! I was made redundant this year, was jobless for 2 months, had big and expensive problems with the supra (now sorted) spent time in hospital with a heart problem, one of my friends has breast cancer......life is pants sometimes but other people's happiness can become yours as you can feel happy for them, which is in short supply right now. Its such a buzz to make someone smile, to help others when you feel like sh*t yourself. Sure, there is horrendous suffering abroad, homelesness and terrible violence here as well, but have you dipped into your pocket to help financially, instead of just complain? done a good deed maybe? Don't be such a grump!!! You see, this thread proves that there are lots of good things going on, no matter how small
  15. Thats ace, not too excited about the Super supra logo but I'm sure others will like it Have you got a price yet Rob?
  16. I'm fed up with all the winging and moaning and general doom and gloom right now so lets here some good stuff!!! What's making you smile in these troubled times, apart from your supra I'm looking forward to the Christmas break and lie ins and spending quality time with some good friends....then theres all the choccies, cake, pudding...... linda xxx
  17. :woot: HAPPY BIRTHDAY ADAM!!! ......AND EVERYONE ELSE TODAY Linda xxxx
  18. For goodness sake, just take it!! Without an MOT its not legal, neither can you tax it. If your too scared to drive it in the winter pick up a SORN form from the post office and leave your supra in a nice warm cosy garage you wuss!!!
  19. Autosport show on at NEC that weekend, thinking I will go Saturday morning, by train probably, anyone else interested?? http://www.autosport-international.com/public/
  20. Oh dear Thankfully they're ok, hope the driver pulls through alright
  21. ?? Don't be arrogant. I'm 'bound to have to try to find something wrong with TT's..' because I don't own one?? perleeease Its down to cost. I'd have loved a turbo but couldnt afford the initial outlay. They both share the same chassis, block and the majority of components and only the initiated can see a difference visually. There is some elitism, sure but mostly its just banter We're all passionate about our supra's and it really shouldnt matter. Sure, I'd love more power and excelleration but I don't actually need it. I know supra owner's who can't handle all the power of their BPU and single tubbies in poor weather and so leave them in a garage all winter. Whereas me....everyday driver, rain and snow and sun
  22. Your one very lucky fellah, think your guardian angel was looking over you!!! I sometimes swear at the A-pillars obscuring my vision a bit but they're a life saver. glad your safe, thats the main thing Linda xx
  23. 20's???!! It'll never handle that well with wheels so big, no matter what shocks/coilovers you put on anyway, your just throwing good money after bad. Have you had the arches rolled? Wide body rear panels or extended wheel arches are a possibility and would help, then you'd need mahooosive wheel spacers (more stress on the hubs = premature wear/failure) But for the cost of the work you'd be better off selling the 20's and buying 18's then fitting a decent set of coilovers. Just my 2p worth
  24. ...Red is such a boring colour.... thats it, definitely not going now Still not sure I can make it as may have to work so expect me if you see me
