  4. Your leaving!! what a shame fellah Can't you take it abroad with you or would it be too much hassle? Seems a pity when its such a minter. Good luck with the sale anyway Linda xx
  5. A handling track would be super cool not to mention great fun!!! as long as theres plenty of runoff and/or padded armco/hay bayles Brunters? (Bruntingthorpe, South Leicestershire) good section of drag strip, maybe set up a coned area? Meeting at.....your house Barbie and trashing viewing your garden Lxx
  6. Was sitting having brekkie by an island this morning, car watching When I hear the unmistakable sound of an engine being bounced of the rev limiter shortly followed by squealing tyres - theres a satin black Nissan 180 going sideways round the island! Good angle, no understeer.....two circuits :nana: People around me agasp with horror while I'm chuckling and grinning like a nutter He flies off up the road, comes back for a second go but theres too much traffic, Third time lucky he goes for it again, gets in a couple of half circuits before tearing off again. As Im waiting to leave hes back for another go, flings it sideways again then disappears leaving burning rubber marks on the road OK, not the most responsible thing to do at that time of the day but got to admire the guys b@lls. And it's sent me to work with the biggest grin ever Lxx
  7. As foxy said, linky: http://www.birmingham.gov.uk/fireworks.bcc Lxx
  8. Sounds like an idea Is cannon hill park doing one, do you know? Linda x
  9. I've been two years running at the NEC and its entertaining for sure though it is a lot of prestige car rental firms as has been said. The autosport show at the NEC in the new year is defo the one to go for though Its just up the road for me so may well take a look and catch up with friends again. Lx
  10. You're fortunate that you'll see Greece as a lot of tourists don't with the space and time to explore off season. Just watch out for crazy greek drivers - usually steer with their knees to leave one hand for a fag and the other for elinikos cafe Looking forward to some pics soon Lx

    I'm sorry

I wasnt affected by the PM's, lucky for him pity I like a good scrap Well done for having the decency to apologise fellah - its a rare occurence. Hopefully its taught you to stop and think next time. Any pics of your supe or have you posted on newbies?? Linda x
  14. I wouldnt say I 'missed' anything when I lived abroad, I just excepted that things were different so why bother getting down about things you cant change? Living abroad is about getting into the way they live in that country, being fascinated about the diffences and trying to fit in as best you can whilst your there. The only thing I found 'odd' was constantly being surrounded by a totally different language 24/7 - your brain is constantly working to translate/re-translate and speak in the host language. You get used to overhearing snipets of other folks conversations and blending in in the UK whereas abroad you never completely blend in. but its all good fun Enjoy and forget this damp, foggy violent country. Kos is a beautiful island with almost none existant crime with true generosity and hospitality the brits could learn from - and you will see it come alive in the spring with flowers and see it all through crystal clear, smog free air Fabulous Linda xx
  15. Hey Ash Even with your 'camera shake' the quality of the paintwork stands out a mile. Plenty of lacquer, really shows the difference between the paint job on the older bumper and the glossy finish on the bonnet I saw a GVN blue supra at JAE this summer which was done 4 years ago but that paint finish stood out a mile. money well invested there mate! The skirts will suit the Ridox perfectly. Can I ask what the skirts are as I've not seen them before? Looks lush already, cant wait for the 'finished' pics! Linda x
  16. I reckon some of our knowledgable tech members should get together and start a chain of supra orientated garages, they'd make wadges of money!!! oh, and I'll have royalties on that idea please Lx
  17. I think he should paint it RED not that I'm biased or anything Lx
  18. excellent (that was my best black country accent btw ) I paid the deposit today but they need the rest of the deposit asap as I thought about 20 peeps - being optimistic Lxx
  19. Picky!! I think the darker shade looks good, Miami's (Nick's) old single supra was that shade - I think Besides, any shade is good, as long as its not pink Lx
  20. tbh Mike, your better off ordering your parts and lubricants/oils so you dont get charged for the middle man. A bit late I know but I ordered filters and oils from Opie and Steve Manley and saved a mint. You need a ramp to get to the diff and its a PINTA to bleed the brake fluid but you can do the brakes with the help of a mate and do the engine oil yourself. Maybe next time I got charged £60 ph which was harsh but finding someone who knows their way around supra's is a tough call as they are few and far between and rarely close by, hence its good to be able to do some things yourself Linda x
  21. Both are cool shades to have though personally I think that the gunmetal just tips the scales, more unusual too Lx
  22. Oh dear!! worrying. But knowing Vic a little, she may agree to a mondeo, if its the ST220!!! I think they make it as a diesel too? I'll be in Leicester from Thursday to Saturday this weekend btw Mark, if your free at some point would be luvly to pop round say hi and see your supe as I've not seen it in its 'new clothes'! Lxx
