  1. Brooklands Books produced a collection of write ups on the supra from its 1983 roots to the later MKIV. In one write up its described as 'a high performance sportscar'. Another article goes on to say '...its sophisticated suspension and powerful turbo engine wer partially offset by its full-figured heft, making it more a sporty GT than a serious sports car...' in another article '...an ostentatious coupe'!!! I'm with bignum on this, its truly what you make it, whether its a stock 326 bhp cruiser or a 1200 bhp drag monster (i.e.; Dee Ireland's CRD) and everything in between. Many people look on it as one of - if not the - most tunable performance cars out there. It creates its own niche and its flexibility as GT, track car, drag car etc sets it apart from its peers. It also inspires a passion and loyalty that few other marques do Just my 2p worth Linda
  2. yeah, annoying isnt it? I usually park in one and a bit spaces or just slightly over or on the line in a nice BIIIIG gap!!doesnt always stop the blighters though L
  3. WOT!!! swap your SUPRA for it !!!! Are you feeling ok?? slight temperature??? Its your call but they don't bare even the slightest comparison either in looks or performance, are you sure you wouldnt regret it in, like, erm....2 minutes?? Have you driven it yet, more importantly? As the proof is in the pudding! Lxx
  4. I have no issues with my N/A at all, good tyres, well set up suspension - apart from the disgusting black filth that sticks to the supra each time I go out. Keeping it clean when its a daily driver is impossible But at least I get the chance to enjoy it every day!! In all fairness, there are some very powerful supra's here that have enough trouble planting power in slightly damp, or even dry conditions. In this weather the results could be disasterous, even at low boost Too many fatalities and bad offs reported this year. If your not happy, keep it tucked up nice and warm in your garage Linda
  5. oops! going to be new year now then If you need some foam for a seal, I bought a load of sheets of the stuff from Hobbycraft, every colour under the sun Can post you out a sheet if ya like, will do about 6 seals. Helps it fit more snuggly in the hole Lx
