  3. Well, that kind of rules out most clubs/individuals from North Mids upwards Why can't they cycle it so its north one year and further south the other???? Its that 'North South divide' coming to the fore again Shame Lx

    insurance quote

Be careful. I took out insurance with them a few years ago on another car, only to find it was a 10 month not 12 month policy called a 'Bonus Builder' so although you get your no claims built up quicker, you dont save much when you factor in what 12 months would be, if you get my drift Then they phoned me up after I took out the policy to say a courtesy car would be an additional 29 quid etc. Read the small print before the cooling off period. good luck Linda x
  9. Definitely!!! count me in. there's a camp site just a shortish walk from the course, not checked link closely but it will probably be open that weekend. Has showers/loos etc and plenty of space to camp. (Whittlebury btw :-)) Lx

    ABFlug S900

I think they look even better dissolved into their constituent parts (resin and fibre) and made into a canoe
  13. I've heard your snores can wake up an entire hotel so erm....maybe not... L
  14. If you dont want to be spending on repairs/maintenance then buying a car that came out 15 years ago with many of them on the road being in excess of 10 years old, will always be an issue. Parts deteriorate with wear and tear, replacements can be a while in arriving as it is not a current model, but for most people the passion for the Supra outweighs it all Sorry to hear about your misfortune but hopefully you'll ride it out and stick with it. They're fantastic cars when they're running well, which most of them do most of the time. good luck sorting it out. L
  15. you forgot to clean the exhaust mate bit of Meguires metal polish or some Autosol will bring it up beautifully. Looking good though fellah Liking the wheels too L
  16. Might be an idea to get your rear suspension checked out, could be worn bushes or something loose, or maybe general wear and tear. Hope you find the cause. L
  17. As its only cosmetic damage and it would therefore appear to be structurally sound (?) that doesnt seem like an unrealistic price. I'm sure he wouldnt entrust his pride and joy to someone who would carry out a shoddy repair. Particularly as it's a singled supra and almost certainly had a substantial amount of money invested in it. Some harsh responses there, perhaps best to wait until the repair is done before making judgements. Just my 2p worth Hope you get it sorted and back on the road soon, maybe you wont want to sell it then Linda x
  18. I recall this happening to another member here last year on a Halfords battery, seems somewhat coincidental?? L
  19. ah, i forgot you can get limitless supplies of viagra over the internet So, you gona show me how many pressups you can do?? Lxx
  20. If your getting it fixed this week why are you asking us if it is a write off? and why are you already ordering parts (when you dont know why the brakes were ineffective anyway or exactley how it happened) and not waiting for the insurers to assess it? or are you not claiming and if so why not? or weren't you insured lol ....and how do you understeer a rwd car ?? something dodgy me thinks... oh well, whatever the why's and wherefore's hope you get it sorted and back on the road soon. If you've had it only as long as your membership here, your kinda new - these beasts bite, as you've found out, especially in the wet and around islands. L
  21. I'd have to chase you around the car park and up and down the stairs a few times to get you fit first....then you'd be too knackered :D ....then there's your big scary megaphone.... Lxx
  22. I was at Envy on Friday, coulda been me Lx
