I'm surprised you recognised it as red as it was looking more like muddy brown Hope to see you around again, hoot next time! Hey Konrad Linda x

The Legal Sizes For Import Number Plates DVLA Confirmed
turbonut replied to a98pmalcolm's topic in Supra Chat
I have legal import plates with the BS standard mark on them (from Parker plates). However, I had to put the standard UK plate over it to pass the MOT....bit of double sided tape did the trick -
eyup, I cant stand the place either, keep trying to escape but end up back by default Apart from Ade and a couple of random supe's I feel like I'm the only other supra owner in town....rarity Lx

Ooh ace I remember finding a dusty copy of the book by John Wyndham in the attic, was my dads, it was my first sci-fi adventure and got me hooked on the genre...scared me half to death but was worth the read

Hey fellah Really sorry to hear about your migraine. I've had then since childhood, runs in the family. Getting your eyesight tested will rule out any physiological causes. Stress can be the sole cause or part of several circumstances coming together. Your GP may or may not be able to help but he/she can provide you with a 'Triptan' - you take it at the first signs of migraine and it should stop or at least minimise the pain/aura/duration. there is a triptan you can now get over-the-counter, called 'Imigran'. Keep one dose with you all the time so you can stop it straight away. You need to work out if any food/drink can be a trigger so you can avoid them. The stress, panic attacks and migraines are probaly all linked. The biggest help I've had is seeing a Homeopath whos working with me to lessen the attacks (up to 3 a week) and the Chronic Daily Headache its left me with. So far its going well and getting better by the month Few people realise how devastating it can be. I just dont bother making plans to go out or go to events anymore as I've wasted tickets so many times Not been able to get to any Supra events for a while now due to this problem Good luck in finding the right treatment and making a 'management plan' Drop me a PM if you need any advice, or just want a sympathetic ear/rant Linda xx

Hi Gaz Holland and Barrett or another health food shop should have jars of it. Supermarkets usually do too, you could be looking in the wrong place! lol. Try the cooking/baking section, next to the syrup ;-) L

Would prefer not 12th as a prior engagement Apart from that any other of those dates fine

It seems you've already decided to get them. With winter coming on you could be watching your back end stepping out in the rear view mirror if they're a hard compound. The tyres are the only thing between you and the road. Like Jamie says, you get what you pay for, why risk stuffing your pride and joy in a ditch because of mediocre tyres with mediocre grip, and picking up a big tab for damage: or even write it off. For the sake of a few quid more for decent tyres, its worth it - they could save your *ss.

Hey Angela Great idea, not that I'm biased or anything Have a look around the forum, check out the Guides for basic spec, although most of us have made modificaitons. What's your current car then?? Linda xx

Hi Sukie Konrad (Konio-NT) has a white supra, lives in wolverhampton, not seen him for a few months so he could have added a bodykit, otherwise not a seen a white supra in wolves since I had mine (red) 2 & 1/2 years.... Linda x

Hey Claire Tell me about it I had one ex that kept coming back and trying his luck every few months, over two years, probably when his latest dumped him as he was such a muppet. (yeah well, we all make mistakes ) I can't understand why, when it didnt work the first time they keep trying to come back for more?? Its easy enough to avoid the calls/texts but when they're dropping round unexpectedly and your running upstairs to hide behind the cupboard and pretend your not it its a bit of a pain But then when a girl is so in demand, ya know, those poor blokes just cant help themselves.... Linda xx

chew on raw garlic, apparently it works a treat ....ok, it'll repel your friends and family too so it will probably be the most peacful and relaxing holiday you've ever had

It looks like you have the same problem as I have on my wheels; water seeps in between the polished lip and the alloy wheel and gets underneath the lacquer where it sits....and corrodes.... Eventually the lacquer blisters and flakes off...sorry to give you bad news but it seems they're on their way. As for a refurb, as the polished lip is curved over the alloy, it can't be removed without distorting/damaging it (they can't be bought seperately) so a refurb is out of the question too - been there, tried several peeps and thats the upshot only option left is to get the lip taken off permanently and getting the wheel powder coated

19 and buying a supra, you will be looking at a hefty insurance premium but if you do a search on here there are lots of suggestions. These cars are getting on a bit now, I've had my NA for 2 1/2 years and wear and tear is the only issue. They are thirsty too so if you're going to do high miles you'll need deep pockets, especially with the fast pedal being so tempting RWD can be an education in the wet if your used to FWD The forum here is great for help and suggestions when problems crop up. Good luck and happy shopping!! Linda x
