Tapping noise coming from front are of engine, been going on for a couple of weeks, barely noticeable at first but yesterday and today, really pronounced Watched pulleys and aux belt moving at idle, no lateral movement on the pulleys that I can see. With engine off, checked for play in pulleys, nothing Aux belt changed before Christmas last year, tension seems fine. Done search on here, found nothing really. Was wondering if bearings worn behind pulley, if thats how they move? sorry not a mechanic but......help!!! Wont move car off drive for now, doesnt seem like a good idea. Linda

I'm an honourary NE jap car owner when I'm up north visiting Tom S but go up on the train otherwise I'd need to tow a petrol pump behind me, at 100+ quid to fuel it up There are so few female supra owners generally on the forum I think you'll struggle, regardless of where your situated. Try one of the Jap North East meets, 2nd Sunday in the month at the Stadium of Light, Sunderland. Join their forum too Quite a mix of owners and you'd get girls with other jap cars too which would make it even more interesting Good luck!! Linda x

It got sorted btw. turned out to be a faulty battery after all Took it to an auto electrician who ran full checks on alternator, starter motor, leads and connections etc, all sound Checked the battery - only 9.5 V standing charge, wouldnt hold the charge, some gas in there too. Took it back to Halfrauds who were v surprised but changed it, after I made them check the voltage on ALL their HCB005 batteries Worked fine after that tho the immobiliser still playing up thanks all for your suggestions Lxx

An Irishman was terribly overweight, so his doctor put him on a diet. 'I want you to eat regularly for 2 days, then skip a day, and repeat this procedure for 2 weeks. The next time I see you, you should have lost at least 5 pounds. When the Irishman returned, he shocked the doctor by having lost nearly 60lbs! 'Why, that's amazing!' the doctor said, 'Did you follow my instructions?' The Irishman nodded...'I'll tell you though, by jaesuz, I t'aut I were going to drop dead on dat 3rd day.' 'From the hunger, you mean?' asked the doctor. 'No, from the f**kin' skippin'

Wheels about to be powder coated black, keeping polished lip Spent a mint getting it re-done, inside and out, spend more on 'toiletries' (meguires ) for the car than I do on me Was rather mucky today though will be washing it tonight Saw a silver supra heading up Wobaston Rd last month once or twice, looked standard?? that you?
