  8. Hi If your in birmingham you could give Steve Manley a call, he gives us a good discount and is at Inchape Toyota, Oxford I think. I've used him for a lot of parts, know his stuff, quick delivery and doesnt cost a lot more for post. I had a set of discs with pads for all round and it cost me £4 post. Supplies for Jsspec N/A's too give him a call: 01865 291333 Hope you get it sorted Linda
  9. Sorry Cant make this now, supra's going to Ibbrar for wheel painting and spats respray Just in time for Japfest ( i hope!! ) Had to cancel last weekend as supra poorly and in garage will make one very soon, honest!! L
  10. Yup, good move, really sets the car off Getting mine done next weekend too!!!
  11. Matt should get it for trying the hardest!!
  12. and There are some 6ft+ owners on here who have no problem, your sitting very low to the ground so its more getting out without falling @ss over t*t thats the issue!! If your tanking it regularly over twisty bits each day, your mpg, even though you have fuel paid for could drop below the 20mpg mark with your around town mpg similar, or worse In terms of insurance a UK TT will be less to insure than a Jspec TT (latter looked on as a grey import) They are great, comfortable distance cruisers (depending if you have an after market suspension set up or standard) as well as fun pottering around town. Once you drive one you'll be coverted! then theres its lush lines, allways a head turner that you wont get with the skyline...... Happy shopping tho' Linda
  13. Welcome! It looks in good nick although the decals are a bit dubious But you need to check out the engine bay and have a good drive to check the turbo's are ok, no smoke etc. It would be a good idea to take someone with you who knows their supra's and what to look for. They are a friendly bunch here and I'm sure someone would be happy to come with you. As previously said, some lovely supra's in our classified's , well looked after and pampered! Take your time until you find the right one and happy shopping! Linda

  17. Update: Apparently its the aux belt tensioner. The numpty's who changed the belt just before christmas strong armed the tensioner and now it needs replacing Had to have it taken away on a flat bed Saturday and am now worse off by at least £355 Fortunately where it is now seem a good bunch, cost of pickup, diagnosis, part and fitting reasonable so should be fitted and ready for picking up tomorrow or Wednesday. L
  18. It creased me up, but then I'm not a girly girl, as Keancy says no possessor of a handbag Its new for some, thats what matters
  19. Thanks Chris, will do that when I get home after some more thorough visual checks and take it from there.
  20. there's no squeeling to indicate worn bearings, its a definite tapping
