  1. Some great suggestions so far, thanks chaps, keep em coming!!
  2. Anything has to be better than having the Eifel tower sitting on your *ss
  3. ....and you didnt kill the clutch afterall!! sounds brilliant, would love to have a go, although not with the supra!! Well done!! Did you have any pics or vids taken btw? if not maybe next month??
  4. cheers Mike I had some sennheisers a few years ago for home use, nice clear sound but Sony good too....hmmmm......decisions
  5. bimbo pink.....nice.... not I drive a supra not a pink micra neat and black with a crisp sound, easy on the mid-range, suits R&B and more bassey beats ta
  6. Creative Zen V Plus - Any recommendations? in-ear not head band. Looked at Sennheiser and Sony but lots of different models (?) suggestions please? thanks in advance Linda
  7. spot on!!! abscess sounds awful sympathies fellah I went to the dentist today and had a clean bill of health, I have a good set of teeth, apparently Not that I'm rubbing that fact in.... only ever had one filling L
  8. You can get away with quite a few different finishes being a silver car. I think the way they look is fine although a gunmetal finish might give a good contrast without being too dramatic Its whatever floats your boat at the end of the day!! You could ask some kind person on here to photoshop them? L
  9. Hi There was a Stubby Arial group buy last year which is over now but if you contact imi he may be able to tell you where he sourced them from. I fitted one to mine, another member made a bracket, its a piece o' cake!! :DHere is the original thread: http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=104211&highlight=stubby+arial Linda x
  10. So I have to drag myself outa my warm, cosy bed at 5ish?? I might wus out and stop over friday in Chippenham, I'm a girlie and we need our beauty sleep!!! will let you know shortly Lxx
  11. Quite a few people on here have had to give up there supra's as they can't afford to run them but still want something a little sporty. Probably cheaper to insure too. good luck mate, Lx
  12. hey Looking to do this myself too. I imagine keying the surface will help the new coat stay on, look nice and smooth too I painted the calipers on my last car with a special caliper paint which needed preping with an aerosol cleaner (Tetracycline I think) but was expensive and still faded with the heat generated by braking. Do a search mate, think this has been covered a few times now. Lx
  13. I might pop along in a non jap car Reserve me the darkest corner Here ya go Ed: http://www.japmids.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4128 Lxx
  14. Sounds like your going to turn it into a Fast & the Furious clone If 'cheap' figures in your equation you'll have problems. The Trial rear has been know to come loose under speed with a couple of peeps here being affected that way. As for the VS skirts, bomex is quite an angular front bumper, the TRD bonned and vented bits of kit too, you'd be better off with the Bomex skirts I reckon Actually I like the Varis skirts Its whatever floats your boat though. Try Knightracer for a quote on the kit, they are on the trader list and quite reasonable in price and quality. Nic (import Pimp) too. Nic can get you a good quality genuine CF rear spoiler. Watch some of the body kits on flea bay though as some of them are shockingly flimsy Happy shopping and Linda x

    Brakes

If you want bog standard OEM's you could try Steve Manley 01865 291333 does a decent discount L
  16. Yup, service and change all your oils, inc brake fluid. Its hygroscopic so will probably have absorbed water being left on the drive. oh and.........when you've washed and polished it, update your garage!! nice carpet btw :D Lxx
  17. Sounds good Only thing is it clashes with SJCC. Sadly my supra is in the garage this weekend otherwise would pop along but he's getting his wheels and spats done Hope all good with you Lxx
  18. Same here as Havard and Konio, as poor as 20ish mpg crawling around town in traffic, as much as 28 mpg on a clear A road or MWay run. Combined miles I get about 320 miles to a tank, less if I'm tanking it everywhere more if I'm avoiding the petrol pumps In terms of maitenance, apart from replacing worn components they are pretty much bullet proof with good fuel, lubricants and regular servicing keeping them in tip top nic Linda
  19. Looks lush the dyno reading and that spec list..... and by the way! Linda x
  20. If they've given you 'faulty goods' surely it is their responsibility to collect it as they are at fault?? I'd give 'em some stick and get them to collect it!! L
  21. turbonut

    Tax!!!!

    Mine's a 93 N/A and its £99 for 6 months
  22. ah, poor Ed, soooo misunderstood!! Lxx
  23. Roll cage, seats and belts look like you mean business!!! Welcome to the club, check out the trader links for parts for your supra, MVP and Envy particularly. Keep us posted on progress from road car to track beast Pity that lovely front's gonna get stonechipped once your flinging it around tracks Linda x
