  3. Ouch!! Hope its not a major/expensive job to correct but main thing is your burns were not deep enough to cause permanent damage. As for the job, hopefully its meant to be and you'll go onwards and upwards All the best on both counts Linda x
  4. I actually kind of...sort of.... like the twin exit exhaust. Not sure about the bunk bed you've stuck on the boot though As long as your happy mate
  5. Hi Jamie Part ex the little tyke with a quieter version?? Only joking hun. Obviously very annoying but maybe some training classes would be a good start. Besides its a bit hot to be wearing ear muffs Lxx
  6. A woman went up to the bar in a quiet rural pub. She gestured alluringly to the bartender who approached her immediately. She seductively signaled that he should bring his face closer to hers. As he did, she gently caressed his full beard. ‘Are you the manager?' she asked, softly stroking his face with both hands. 'Actually, no,' he replied. 'Can you get him for me? I need to speak to him,' she said, running her hands beyond his beard and into his hair. 'I'm afraid I can't,' breathed the bartender. 'Is there anything I can do?' 'Yes. I need you to give him a message,' she continued, running her forefinger across the bartender's lip and slyly popping a couple of her fingers into his mouth, allowing him to suck them gently. 'What should I tell him?' the bartender managed to say. 'Tell him,' she whispered……… ... ... ... ... ... There's no toilet paper, hand soap, or paper towels in the ladies' room.'
  7. Whether its a manual (6 speed for a facelift I believe?? ) or auto will also impact on the price, slightly higher for a manual as they are rarer. You could look on Pistonheads or Autotrader etc for an idea of current prices although some of them are going for silly money these days Linda

  12. just found this thread, has an exploded diagram of the door including winder motor, not sure if its any use? http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=103402&highlight=electric+window If you need a replacement mechanism Jezz or Ibbrar (Speedwells - he breaks supra's too) might have one, or try steve Manley for a new one, gives discount to club members: 01865 291333 I've had electrical problems before and know how frustrating they are to figure out. Linda x
  13. sympathies. I've had to leave my car a few times of late to get work done and always have a thorough look round afterwards to make sure they've not shaved a few microns off the paintwork Makes me want to lurk until their finished cus I dont trust the blighters You could have stalked him in your Rover L
  14. Hey Matt Really feel for you fellah. If it worked briefly then not, it seems intermittent and therefore probably a loose connection in the wiring or maybe a crack on the fuse board causing it to momentarily connect. If it was a fuse blown it wouldnt work at all. It may be worth posting in the tech section, ask if someone can send you a linky to wiring diagram out the manual?? Do you have an auto electrician near where you live? Theres a good one in the midlands not much use I'm afraid but if all else fails do a local search. Safety and wet weather certainly an issue. Hope you get it sorted soon L
  15. rick, what wax protector do you use? sounds like a useful addition to the collection thanks Lx

    Hi guys!

Welcome Jamie With that sort of budget you shouldnt have trouble with a stock UK TT price wise but an unmolested version is a rare beast. Manual or auto btw? Manual's are even rarer Good luck with your search Linda
  17. the last time I went into MacDs it took a chunk out my spoiler I may bring large quantities of chocolate but if tea and butties gets me a lift back into town Its possible
  18. I'll bring an alarm along for you.... ............ a bucket of cold water
  19. gona have to leave it a few days as having spokes powder coated Taj is doing some work on the spats and skirts too
  20. yeah but you'll spend the first 5 hours at the show snoring in your supra lol
  21. Hey Dunk Off topic (sorry!!) you gona be at Ibbrar's tommorrow? Im taking the supra in for his wheels to be done Linda x
  22. he said the polished rims, not the spokes I use autosol occasionaly but to really get the oxidation off use Meguires metal polish - mildly abrasive but gentle. Polish it up with a soft microfibre cloth afterwards. Best thing is to keep on top of it so to speak Give them a swill in between car washes to stop a build up, i just use my meguires tech wash and a cellulose sponge - less likely to trap grit and scratch as normal sponges do. When you do clean the spokes, beware of off the shelf wheel cleaners as they strip the laquer off and worse case scenario, cause blistering Check out Meguires, it really is cracking stuff: http://www.meguiars.co.uk/ Linda

    Trains

Actually, trains can be a cheaper alternative if you book in advance. Tom and me go up and down the country to see each other (400 mile round trip ) and it costs about £35 return if we book 2 or 3 weeks in advance - far cheaper than £120 in petrol for me or £145 for Tom, not to mention additional wear and tear on cars that are already knocking on a bit!!!
