  1. WOW!!! You can shoot me down in flames but I love that body kit and did from when it first came out. Looks really purposeful and neat, gorgeous in gunmetal too. The rivets are poor though and the interior is ripe for a refit but they are just superficial and can be worked on - nice little project for someone another nice motor Jurgen! Linda x
  2. If the cars dredged up sludge from the bottom of the tank there could be a blockage in the fuel lines possibly? Fuel pump given up another possibility. Could even be your starter motor and nothing to do with the fuel. Do you just get a clicking sound when you turn the ignition? if so its the starter motor, but if it still turns over (although it sputters to a stop) it could be pretty much anything fellah, alternator leads, sparks etc etc If its been left standing for a long period before you took ownership the battery may be low on charge. Maybe check your battery connections are not loose, eliminate the obvious things. Hope you sort it though, Linda x
  3. Indeedy i can smell the burning rubber, picture the smoking tyres, hear the chittering wastegates and hear them bouncing off the rev limiter just thinking about it!! What I liked too was the accessability of the pit, you can look in the garage at the time attack cars and ask daft questions and ogle the cars. You can get anywhere on the track too basicaly then theres the stalls full of goodies Lx
  4. Yeah, agreed. I've been for two years running already, view from the stands for the drifting is amazing and they have an area where you can 'drift wot you brung' - got me some great ring tones from it!! Then there's the chance to have 15mins on a brilliant track for a few quid, can't go wrong. Still thats their loss bring it on!!! Lxx
  5. Hi Mate Dya know anywhere locally to take it then? I'm north of birmingham, had the 2nd cat lying around unwanted for ages might as well make a few quid cheers Linda
  6. woohoo!! Ace, relief isnt it hun? I'm catless too, got through last year should be ok for this one too. I think because its JSpec it doesnt come up on the MOT register...... ..... so to all those UK spec TT's.......:lalala: hehehe!!! Here's to our lil ol N/A's Lxx
  7. hey nick how you doing? I was wondering if these are still being producued by toyota?? seems not unless anyone knows any different Lx
  8. Its a sad irony that in many such incidences its the fool who causes the accident that gets away with a few scratches and the passengers/bystanders that end up worse off. Accident locally to me where a numpty lost it on a bend (in a scooby) ploughed into a bridge support and his two passengers ended up in hospital very poorly. and him? he walked away unscathed. Awful. hits home though
  9. Just found this, if you have a few mins...... http://www.doctorann.org/survey/smoking/
  10. How about I glue a smoke alarm to the back of your tshirt, that'll help you stop lol, kidding hun xx
  11. Have you checked there's no play in the pulleys? Has your aux belt worn or become loose/split? Whining could be a whole host of problems, could indicate bearing wear or even something catching? Does it affect the performance? Can you do a vid and post it on this thread? L
  12. Do Costa do coffee in buckets?? I'll order one for ya
  13. The wheels look alright, or have they been bent? Nasty either way, really sorry. My supra has had similar damage in the past judging by a slightly crumpled rear off side quarter good luck in getting it fixed, hope its only superficial and the rear suspension set up is ok. linda x
  14. me or the tyres?? ......sorry, that was predictable..... no. its disgusting
  15. yeah, mines like that too maybe temperature and humidity affect the charge mix but even then......odd But age will certainly effect it. When these N/A's came out 0-60 in 6.5 secs was standard. Id get it fixed, serviced - fresh oil, sparks etc - and generally sorted before you subject it to the rigours of a Dyno. Maybe one or both cats out too. Hoff had his engine blow after a day on the dyno and his is/was really glued and screwed Anyway, your supra would kill most other cars out there on looks alone. Who needs to go fast when you look so good Linda x
  16. Welcome O topless one Hope your luck improves. I'd check the transport company's insurance to see if you can claim for the loss which wasn't your fault ......numptys Linda x
  17. Just found this: http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=150067 wondered why you were putting a new engine in, thought it was an upgrade.....sooo sorry mate puts my triffling problems into place Keeping my fingers crossed the transplant goes smoothly Lxxx
  18. They're all clones really, honest In comparison to what miserable efforts toyota produce: http://www.toyotagifts.com/ Or this..... http://motors.search.ebay.co.uk/toyota_Branded-Automotive-Merchandise_W0QQsacatZ72188
  19. Hey thanks guys. Just feeling disheartened. I know it happens to us all but just worried incase something else goes wrong en route and its quite a way. May wait til Japshow now unless something else gives up the ghost Would be more than happy to help you drop your engine in hun though it could cost you a smartie Mac Flurry Lxx
  20. If you use a piece of old towel or something with some texture to rub it into the plastic and a soft microfibre cloth to bring it up. You'll need a few applications until the cloth your applying it with comes away clean.....and some Ralgex for your sprained wrist afterwards!! You need to keep doing it regularly to stay on top of it, so to speak have fun Linda
  21. Hi y'all Don't think I'll be going after all. Had loads of [expensive] problems with the supra, one after another and paintwork done [that wasnt what I'd expected either ] Going to struggle to find petrol money and not in great mood to go. sorry Lxx
  22. Bureaucracy gone mad Your LA website should tell you what you can recycle and your local tip is an option for non recyclable items. You can buy a composter really cheap, put it at the end of the garden and bung in your food waste. One of my mates nr birmingham has to use bin liners as the local council wont supply wheelie bins.....and they wonder why they've an ongoing problem with rats L
  23. Well Said i think thats the case for most of us. They guzzle petrol and thrape our pockets in modifications but I can't think of any other car that would give me so much pleasure to own. Both for its drive and visual appeal. Everyones is different, we create it and make it part of ourselves As for getting your money back... Personally I've spent more on the car than what I bought it for (£4.5K) latest bill will take it to close on £5K in mods/parts but I don't begrudge a penny. To me its unique. Keep it and drive it!!! Enjoy!! Linda xx
