  5. Been using Meguires metal polish to bring up the shine, also tried Autosol. As they're both slightly abrasive they're not ideal to use all the time so I thought a wax may be better so less elbow grease and metal polish to use Any ideas? What do you use and rate? found this on Autoexpress website: http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/products/products/220809/turtle_wax_extreme_nanotech_wax_for_wheels.html cheers Linda x
  6. good point, not heard from steve where he's going to meet us yet......... Steve?? L
  7. Yup, anyone else want to meet up is very welcome. Leave at 7:15 latest!!We should be at Maccie D's just on the A43 by 8:15ish so Steve can dish out the tickets, if your ok with that Steve?? We'll be passing Watford Gap services just past M1/J17 so can meet some peeps there if needed maybe 7:45 or there abouts. Linda x
  8. I'm sure he'll be encouraging, if its a step up the career ladder and your current company can't provide the equivalent for more money, its a done deal Just keep them sweet in case things don't work out with the new company. Oh, and Good Luck!! Lx

  13. Cant believe this thread's still running
  14. Looking good If the fabric is not too thick I think trimming the flap of your ciggy box would really finish it off? So when you going to do the rest of the dash? Linda x
  15. 8:15??!! well there's a MacD's just up the road from Silverstone just off the A43, central and a BP station next door. you can cut across from the M40 onto the A422 then up onto the A43, sounds like a plan L
  16. I'm leaving Wolverhampton and heading down M6, onto M1 - J19. Probably meet up with Ash and Nick Watford gap services after J17, anyone want to join me/us let me know. not worked out times yet, depends whose interested Need to allow time for coffee and muffins though Linda x
  17. Yaris reliable, great mpg, surprisingly roomy lots of leg and head room. 3 and 5 door. The 1.0 is a little sluggish (0-60 in a bout half hour ) but there's a 1.3 petrol and the 1.4 diesel is the same block they stuffed into the diesel mini. Seen petrol models going for £2,000 for a 2000 reg 1.0L Or a corolla, dull but bullet proof, range of engines. You'll die from boredom before it falls off the road but depends what you want to stuff into the car - missus/kids/dogs etc. if you were ok with a hatch before and it still suits...... Linda x
  18. If you've not had a RWD car before then the way the supra can step out - even an NA- in the wet can be a nasty surprise if your not ready for it. Also bear in mind that cars loose power over time. You'll be looking at a pre-facelift if you dont want to spend much. N/A's have been dyno'd at sub 200bhp. When you get one, get it serviced, change all your oils/filters/sparks etc then get it dyno'd if bhp means so much to you to see what you have to play with. As for a NA-T kit, Boost Logic is excellent you still need an FCU and different ECU (AEM a good one) amongst other things. check out Club NA-T if your keen: http://forum.clubna-t.com/ Avoid XS Power kits they'll beak up on you Linda
  19. Just a matter of time....................
